Sup, just stubbled upon r/conspiracy and...
1 2013-02-09 by DatRope
haven't even looked around yet (I'm not new to any of this information), but how prevalent is/are disinfo/disinfo agents in this subreddit. I would honestly never consult reddit when it comes to conspiracy.
Of course, as many of you can relate, over time it has become pretty easy for me to pick out disinfo vs real info (for example, Alex Jones, although he does speak some truth, is just an obvious disinfo agent, but you have to learn to pick out the truth...disinfo agents have to be right about some things our else it would be too obvious, no?) so even if I do start looking at this sub, I won't be too worried.
So tell me, from your experience, should I even bother with this sub or is it just full of disinfo agents and those who believe them?

How about spend some time browsing to decide for yourself? Don't take another person's word for it and be your own person.
2 DatRope 2013-02-09
I'm going to do that anyway, just thought I'd get the general consensus.

Good luck with that then! You're gonna need it.

Disinfo agent reporting in!
Nope, nothing to see here.
Move along, citizen!

It's common sense that 'Cyber warriors" would be here in force. Expect it. The harder something is trolled or derailed the more you should think about why. And use the 'controversial' and 'new' filters more than just the 'hot' or 'top'.

I can assure you that both of these users are disinfo agents. First one is mossad mos def
2 mikewerbe 2013-02-09

One is definitely Galileo Humpkins and I have a strong hunch Trapezius Milkington is one too.

I have to deal with trolls too? No thanks.

this sub has its own fanboy sub called r/conspiratard. they come here and sockpuppet, downvote brigade, forum slide etc.. and generally try to bury any good info. Very helpful actually.
p.s. read the sidebar :)

Let me put it this way. I really hope that every disinfo and misinfo agent that ever touched this subreddit and was paid or compensated somehow to spread information will die by a very painful cause of dead. Their children should get cancer. Their whole family should suffer endlesly and that will not even represent the moral misservice that they are inflicting. Obviously they never heard of the Milgram experiment.
Their dicks are very small anyway, even the ones from their women, so I understand well that they have to compensate their lack of confidence with blood money, even if they betray their own country, their own families and the whole human civilisation. Disinfo agents, if you are reading this, you know that you are scum of the earth, right? It does not come as surprise to you that you are hated.
If somebody ever finds some evidence that I was ordered to spread information that contradicts my ethical conviction and reasonabel conclusions by spreading knowingly disinformation I want to be punished the hardest way imaginable, because my life will not have any value and I will be soulless creature. That said I honestly believe that Alex Jones is a reasonable, honest person and not a disinfo agent. I do not have evidence against it, but I do not have any doubts that he has done more good than bad. Occacionally I will post some Alex Jones links, so if you can not abide that then please do not upvote. EOT

You write like Bill Hicks!
-1 another_old_fart 2013-02-09
Except that Bill Hicks was a social critic, not a paranoid nutjob.
3 acronyman 2013-02-09
That wasn't rude at all.
-1 Your-Wrong 2013-02-09
We must not be thinking of the same Bill Hicks...Nice try, GuiltByAssociation.

Sweet!

I'd estimate about 1/10 are trolls and/or disinfo agents. It takes a while to spot some of them but others are quite obvious.

I dont think that math is adding up right
1 [deleted] 2013-02-09
OP, are you an /x/phile?
2 ApolloXLII 2013-02-09
Ugh... I stopped going on /x/ awhile ago because it just got ridiculous with the nonstop shitty creepy-pasta, bad anime, how do I summon a succubus, and slenderman threads.
1 DatRope 2013-02-09
Yea, /x/ is alright sometimes, but I'm pretty sure some of those motherfuckers are just crazy. Most of the talking I do about this stuff is between me and people I know irl.
0 [deleted] 2013-02-09
Fair enough, I left /x/ when I realised how almost everyone there seemed to be either about twelve or genuinely crazy.
For some reason though I ended up here, where there's just as much crazy, but a less shit kind of crazy.

The sub has to start disallowing down-votes and only have up-votes. That way, we can protect ourselves from the shills and paid dis-info agents down-voting to oblivion content they don't want us to see.
1 jcslzr 2013-02-09
this is a pretty good idea.
-1 spaghettigod 2013-02-09
They're as prevalent as there are morons who call anyone they don't agree with a "shill".
-1 Your-Wrong 2013-02-09
Questions like that...
Just go away now.
1 GuiltByAssociation 2013-02-09
