Santa Monica College Shooting Observations [#1]

Eye witness look and sound anything but genuine. One of them looked like he was grinning the whole time. And people (supposedly evacuated students) were laughing and smiling in the background.

Goodbye news about PRISM.

Yup. If this is a False Flag Operation, why didn't they do literally anything other than (ANOTHER) shooting? Is it because shootings (especially school shootings) get the nations attention better than damn near anything else.

It's because this is not a false flag operation.
It's a shooting, which happens every day.
What is any different about this shooting?
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
It's taking peoples attention off of issues. Which seems like the best thing right now for the NSA.
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Who are these people?
Almost every other thread about the NSA wiretapping talks about how the average citizen doesn't even know about or care about it.
And no, a shooting as trivial as this is not going to get peoples attention

did you see the guy they interviewed that talked about how it's good that Obama is gonna show up because people like the shooter are "terrorizing" us and people are "spying" on us? the news reporter cut him off and moved to another witness.
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
Don't think I saw him but thanks for telling me. Keep your eyes and ears open!
2 luhmayo 2013-06-07
it's odd how all the students are being allowed to stand IN FRONT of the campus while they don't know if another shooter is at large.
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
Extremly, thanks for pointing out the obvious to me. Can't believe I haven't posted about that yet.
2 luhmayo 2013-06-07
just recorded an interview with a guy saying he got shot at DOWN the street, and the guy got in his car and left; no where near the library campus, it seems like the news people are guiding his answers.
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
So what? 3 shooters now?
2 luhmayo 2013-06-07
apparently they just caught this guy; notice how he's not white, dressed in black, or have any dreadlocks.
lol corrected as I was posting; they just said he got arrested on a separate incident http://i.imgur.com/rTfLAJM.jpg

There's still a suspected 2nd shooter.

Thanks

So simply people laughing in the background leads you to the assumption that they are not genuine.
Ever been to a funeral?
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
This is no funeral and these people are not mourning.
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Yes, but what I am getting at is that people can laugh in situations where emotions are bad.
I just don't see anything weird about students laughing.
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
I see what you're saying. You might be right.
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Also, even if someone was in the library when being shot, they usually don't act rationally after being traumatized. It could evoke a slew of emotional reactions, be it laughing or crying.
Simply because you or someone you know reacts to something in a certain way does not mean every other person will.
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
True.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
not one person that they've shown looks terrified that someone started shooting in the library. not even the people that were supposedly IN the library. no one saw anything they're all saying "they heard this and that"
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
I would assume not every single student that was evacuated was in the area of the shooting, or laughing.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
just like the whole aurora and sandy hook thing right? "people grieve/deal with horrible situations in different ways" right? RIGHT?
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Yeah, we can put words in my mouth if you want.
Do you disagree that people have different reactions to emotional events?
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
there's no use arguing this point because if I give you my personal opinion you're gonna reply with "well that's just you" but I'll bite...
if I were in the library (where some action went down) I would say the very least be shaken up or worried about the safety of the reported wounded; these people just look excited to be on TV...
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Is there a clip of this?
Do we know these people who look happy were in the area the shooting occurred, or just other students who got to get out of class.
I just honestly don't see anything weird about students laughing. Especially if the suspect was caught and the danger was gone for. I will say I would like to know more info, but I just don't see anything fishy about that.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
there's supposedly another shooter at large and people are hanging around the front of the campus while police are still searching the campus... conflicting reports of shooters.. proof is in the news unfortunately if you don't live in LA you probably won't see it. I can't upload the clips to YouTube since I'm on my phone.
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Yeah there are a few conflicting reports. I have seen that there was only one, and that he has been detained.
I'll see if any clips are on news article websites for this story.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
they just showed footage of an Asian male in custody first reports were of a white male in black overalls/suit with dreadlocks
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Is that the suspect?
Or a second person.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
there were reports of an Asian male as the shooter but they're not saying for sure if he is a suspect or not he's just handcuffed and being paraded around right now.
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
I guess the guy lit a house on fire, and then started shooting at vehicles down the street from the college.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
but it conflicts with reports of a shooter being on the pico side (opposite of the library shooting/house on fire) and fleeing in his car towards clocerfield (about a half mile away from campus)
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Nah this is in the beginning, he tried to break in to the house, then lit it on fire. Then started shooting at the cars on or around campus.
This os the best article I ave found so far describing what has happened
Also it states only one student said they saw two gunmen so I'm not sure how credible that one persons statement is.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
but they're saying there's 2 dead in the burning house and that they're possibly linked to this.. what's going on here?
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Really not sure. It says he tried to break in, could have killed those people and then lit the house on fire. Still a little early to figure it out with all the differeing reports.
From the sounds of it though this gunmen just went crazy and started trying to kill people. Does not sound like any motivation to kill a certain person.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
try to find a live stream to KCAL 9 channel news; that's what I'm watching at the moment.
http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/live-video/
1 moparornocar 2013-06-07
Awesome, meant to ask what news stations are in the area.
1 luhmayo 2013-06-07
now they're reporting the gunman was wearing body armor and had an assault rifle, why do all these guys have body armor and assault rifles? who's really supplying them?
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
Well there's nothing illegal about owning body armor. And the media is probably using the term to shock people, but even if that's the case rifles like AR-15's are prohibited throughout California. You've got good points.
3 luhmayo 2013-06-07
yes there's nothing illegal about owning it, but when you see people in a certain uniform with certain gear it's safe to assume there's a certain trend going on right? public shooting; check. body armor; check. assault rifle/multiple weapons; check. it's become the norm to expect this kinda behavior from characters that all fit the same description. WHY do all these people need body armor if they don't plan on getting away with their actions?
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
Another good point. What's the use of protecting yourself if your going to end up surrendering or shooting yourself in the head?
1 HorrorHiro 2013-06-07
It's taking peoples attention off of issues. Which seems like the best thing right now for the NSA.
