Are we anywhere close to WWIII?
13 2013-07-01 by Chainweasel
It's a serious question, Given the recent outbreak of news regarding the destabilization of countries normally portrayed as stable such as Brazil and Turkey, and with the new round of protests in Egypt, which recently seemed as if it were becoming stable again. And the Backlash from the EU and other "allies" from international espionage and the NSA, Are we moving dangerously close to a global conflict? Or is it just the way the media portrays all of this that makes me feel this way and this is just another round of pissing matches that will fizzle out with everything being forgotten in a matter of weeks/months?

A sacrifice to Satan for America.

Remember; Satan is a TITLE not a NAME.

when you put a label on a jam jar it doesn't change the contents

I think it gave the US a good reason to start the surveillance, No i don't think it was false flag, just exploited.
4 ronintetsuro 2013-07-01
"The surveillance" started long before 9/11. That's the most damning part of the recent revelations, and one of the points the Media doesn't want you to focus on.

I urge you to look into 9/11 more. This short video is a starting place: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuC_4mGTs98

Every day we're closer than the day before...
1 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
But how far do you think we are from the first shots?
2 [deleted] 2013-07-01
I don't think we're there yet, but political unrest in other parts of the world is definitely on the rise. In the middle east its going to get a lot worse...then maybe we intervene...and start WWIII
1 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
That's one of my concerns, the US has not been one to keep their fingers out of the rest of the wordl's pie so to say, and typically if we don't have an "in" we usually make one. Like the McCollum Letters that outline a plan to provoke the Japanese into attacking either Hawaii or Alaska in the early years of WWII, then there's Vietnam, Korea, Iraq I & II, and now Syria. Not to mention the brief spout we had with Libya a few years back.

I'm not aware of the Zimmerman Telegram, Ill have to check that out

Yup. I think everyone will have enough of our shit the first decade of this century and it will be time to pick a side.
1 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
I agree, And I can't help but feel this time it will be worse than the last two World Wars, and I imagine they'll make up a new word for it, Similar to how Terrorism took on a new meaning after 9/11, It became a universal term to any small nation warring against us, then we don't think of them as a group of people, like the wars of the past, the new name has a connotation similar to animals or savages

if nukes are used there will be no WWIV

"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." -Albert Einstein

That's the one I was thinking of.

Holds a lot of truth

Yeah, we're fucked eventually. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow...but eventually, we're all fucked.

I read an article a few weeks ago that discussed this issue, and the author's take was that WWIII might already be underway. Maybe it started after 9-11? Or maybe with Libya? Egypt? Syria?
His point was that we won't know the outcome of these conflicts and what their fallout will be till later. It is at this later date that we can all look back and say "so THAT'S when it started"
Scary thought.
2 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
I agree, it wasn't until after WWII that we realized it started long before the first shot was fired, really just a holdover from WWI

"A world war is a war affecting most of the world's most powerful and populous countries. World wars span multiple countries on multiple continents, with battles fought in multiple theaters." The war on terror was the prelude of World War Three.
2 [deleted] 2013-07-01
Anyone who thinks we are not n the verge of WWIII has not been paying attention. Russia and America are in a proxy war right now. It's only a matter of time before that proxy war becomes a full blown war involving China and everyone else.

According to some sources, we're already in it.
2 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
It certainly feels like we're in the beginning
2 no1113 2013-07-01
Yes. Seen this?

i was just discussing this with another user, and i think it all depends on what benefits the international banking cartel most. at the moment, i can't decide if that's war or furthering their economic enslavement of the world's population. could be both.
3 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
Burning resources in war is a great way to keep people economically impaired
2 [deleted] 2013-07-01
that and it's a great way to reduce the world's population to a more manageable level.

"If leisure and security were enjoyed by all alike, the great mass of human beings who are normally stupefied by poverty would learn to think for themselves", become politically conscious and so depose the ruling oligarchy; therefore, ". . . in the long run, a hierarchical society was only possible on a basis of poverty and ignorance". Given that large-scale, mechanised production could not be eliminated once invented, the Party arranges the destruction of surplus goods – before that makes "the masses too comfortable, and hence, in the long run, too intelligent". Hence the perpetual war" - George Orwell 1984

syria is holding things up right now. ww3 will start when "they" hit iran. "they" cant achieve their goals via the air (ie regime change, central bank change, antiquity theft and return to stone-age chaos) so it will need a land invasion and likely a draft.
1 Chainweasel 2013-07-01
So how long until "they" hit iran?
2 21022012 2013-07-01
just as soon as they have syria + time to fly/ship in materiel, planning will be done already.

What most people seem to forget, is that a world war now would be extremely different from any other world war we have seen in history. an all out war between two or three super powers would be over in a few weeks with the technology we have available now (that is, if it is not thermo nuclear) If you want a long war, you want to fight people who are good at things like gorilla warfare and insurgency, some modern armies might be able to do something like this, but i doubt they will be able to keep it going very long.
i have to admit that it is possible that we will see a world war between super powers, but i still feel the more likely scenario is a new war on terror spanning most of the planet, with the powers that be, funding and equipping mercenaries with ever increasing firepower, maybe even nukes, and then sending their own armies to fight them.
2 [deleted] 2013-07-01
Yeah, we're fucked eventually. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow...but eventually, we're all fucked.
