A Kickstarter to arm American citizens?

I just had an interesting idea. What about starting a kickstarter to arm American civilians? What would that cost? Would you contribute?

Arm yourself, and ask you friends and family to do the same. We can all do that without advertising it online.

The only kickstart they needed was Obama's election...

Phrasing.

Kickstarter doesn't do gun related kickstarts any longer (as I recall). I believe they shut down quite a few 3D printed receivers.
Now, if you were to start your own Kickstarter clone (with hookers! and blackjack!), you might be OK.

I may just do that. I'll put it up on tor with bitcon. Hookers, guns, and blow for all! Just in time for Armageddon!

Don't forget the blackjack.

Something is going to replace those little crown shaped air-fresheners and Kickstarter wants nothing to do with that.

God help you if you want to Kickstart an actual kickstarter.

good way to get yourself extra-judicially renditioned
1 mrtrikonasana 2013-07-13
Yes, I am sure the thought police are on their way to take me away for reconditioning. So much for exercising our 2nd amendment rights. I just looked up what extra-judicially renditioned means. Damn we live in scarey times. TIL, thanks.

If you study kickstarter as I have since possibly using it for a project. You'd find that the management of Kickstarter has to approve all projects and you have to have a business account with Amazon for the business you're going to use kickstarter under. You have to have a bank account under that business and a tax I.D. for that business as well. So do read all the rules and regulations that kickstarter has on their website and also the rules and regulations that Amazon has for being approved for a business account with them. Getting a kickstarter campaign done is easier said then done for most projects.

What're you planning on developing a giant mech suit? If that's the care you'll need at least 55,000,000,000
1 mrtrikonasana 2013-07-13
I'm developing nothing, I was just thinking of a way to push the boundaries of the second amendment. But now that you mention it, giant mech suits would be sweet, however I don't know if they are allowable under the kickstarter TOS.

Buy a tank?
I dunno, have you tried the Oath Keepers? I hear they go around talking to police/military reminding them of the Constitution so that when the time comes they'll be prepared to refuse unlawful orders.
Also, they own guns themselves.
I don't know how good they are, mind you, but it might be something for you to look into.

Oathkeeper's only as effective as individual LEO morals. Most cops will shoot your pet dog while serving a warrant next door.
