A lot of conspiracies are based on events tied to the middle east and so a lot of us here have an interest on what is occurring over there. If the mods feel that it shouldn't be here or that most of the users don't want it here then they will deal with it. Part of looking at conspiracies is keeping up with current events, especially events in the middle-east.
If the mods feel that it shouldn't be here or that most of the users don't want it here then they will deal with it.
The front page of this subreddit is a discussion about rule number one. Would you post this kind of reply to that question? No. Because it is intended to shut down debate.
You can keep up with current events in a variety of other ways.
I'm not going to argue with you about it, like I told you if enough people agree with you or the mods feel the same as you then I'm sure it will be dealt with. What I said wasn't intended to shut down debate because all I said was that you just opened a door for the debate. Do you think that rules should be changed because you want it or because the community wants it? Chill for a minute and see what everyone else think.
I'm just going off the top of my head, but in my view, a topic suitable to the realm of conspiracies should have particular characteristics or deal with particular topics:
esoteric knowledge
a supernatural force
a government or corporate cover-up
extraterrestrials
cryptozoology
People are confusing things like influence peddling and sectarian spats as a conspiracy.
influence peddling is certainly conspiratorial in nature, especially if it's not talked about. I think the upvote/downvote system will determine what should and shouldn't be posted here.
I would be more interested in hearing about real conspiracies you condescending ass.
For instance, has 'The Family' aka The Fellowship been involved in influencing middle east policy? That would be a conspiracy. You need to learn the difference.
Nobody is dictating anything to you. I'm simply expressing what a lot of other people are thinking, or what a lot of other people thought before they just gave up and left.
The sub is called Conspiracy, but we talk about a lot more than that. The mods are pretty open here with what we post as long as its not hurting anything and they know that it will of interest to most of the users.
Look. I understand that, what I'm saying is that in my opinion articles about a child dying because of a rocket attack is not even remotely conspiracy related.
And don't get me started about the voting system, it's fishier than a Japanese scientific whaling expedition.
Yeah except for the Arab-israeli conflict plays a huge part in our lives... WE PAY TAXES TO THE ISRAELIS...
Not only that but you are seriously trying to stereotype r/conspiracy in with the usual reptilian overlord believers. This sub is about 9/11, its about tax protesting, its about aliens, cover-ups, satanic blood cults, zionism, intelligence agencies, false flags, pedophilia cults, illuminati, secret orders and societies, alternative views of history, future technology, hidden technology, one world government, politics, the fed, currency wars, vaccines, pandemics, spying, human programming and mind control...Please stop trying to turn r/conspiracy into something its not...
This place above all else is where we get to talk about the hard hitting subjects..All of them
Posting a long list lot of things that make sense, and then putting ridiculous crap in the middle, doesn't make your specific topics legitimate.
Tax Protesting? That's not something that belongs here. Neither does the middle east. The PROBLEM is that these dumb topics have taken over, and there are almost NO interesting content anymore.
If you want to tax protest, go to the teabagger subreddit.
Great post...great information.. Talk to Peter Schiff's dad about tax protesting and see what he thinks..it is definitely legitimate and belongs in this sub-reddit.
The problem is people who have no idea what's going on in the world and think that r/conspiracy is just about aliens, dumbs, and esoteric knowledge. Sorry there's a lot more to the real world than that buddy.
If you don't like what's being talked about and what's been talked about for the last 5 years in this sub-reddit then fucking go somewhere else.. seriously, its not that hard.
Well, there are a lot of changes going on around here right now so I would say that you did the right thing by stating your thoughts in a post. You can get a feel for what everyone else thinks and if enough people seem to agree then take it to the mods and I'm sure they will take care of it.
The zionists are working behind the scenes (esoteric knowledge) to do the biddings of satan (a supernatural force) to establish a conflict between arab nations and israel in a secret manner funded by the banking cabal (a government/corporate cover-up) in order to depopulate the planet for the arrival of the annunaki (extraterrestrials) so that they can continue on their genetic manipulation studies and experiments to find a suitable mixture of DNAs to create the optimum slave species (cryptozoology).
There. I just made it relevant to this sub using all five of your criteria, and therefore the arab-israeli conflicts belong in this sub.
What about the conspiracy that says that WW III will be over exactly that conflict and it was planned out even before WW I?
If true then all the anti Zionist and anti Arab sentiment is nothing but propaganda for a divide-and-conquer strategy, and some sized chunk of /r/conspiracy actually swallowed it.
It seems reasonable to me that for every time the issue is posted her, saying something along the lines of how pitting one group against another group is pretty much always destructive and you are probably being manipulated if you believe one. But as long as the message of division gets repeated, it shouldn't be too hard to give a shout out to the opposite.
I think it's called "discussion" or "the free exchange of ideas" or something like that.
But as long as there are some people who keep throwing it out there, isn't it better to just keep shooting it down. Yeah it gets tedious maybe, but I tend to think the repetitive march toward dividing people isn't going to stop. It seems better to keep meeting it with pushback that is in everybody's face to the same extent that the divisiveness is in our faces.
(not just with Zionism/Arab, but also Rep/Dem, Black/White, or whatever.)
In other words, I don't think this is the sort of thing that will go away if you ignore it.
Dude, you used a contraction of 'you are' when you meant 'your' as in possessive.
I'm not trying to sound like an asshole, but you don't use the word 'conspiracy' correctly and you're mixing up other words. After a certain point people will stop taking you seriously. Settle down and sit down with a dictionary for an evening.
If the mods feel that it shouldn't be here or that most of the users don't want it here then they will deal with it.

Considering the overt and covert influence on third-party nations being exerted by the parties involved - are you serious?
If trolling, congrats on the bite.
;-)

There is no conspiracy here, unless you count the army of trolls from Anonymous flooding the forum.
A lot of people are turned off when they come here and the only thing they hear are middle east politics. Isn't there a subreddit for that?

Ok? Why?
-6 vancedecker 2013-12-29
Because it's not a conspiracy, it's politics.

I don't think you've looked up the word 'conspiracy' yet.

So post what you wish to share rather than dictate what others get to discuss.

Knowing what other people really really want without knowing them must be a hell of a super-power.
In the mean time telling people what they should and should not post based on your opinions comes off as a little odd.
If you wish to discuss certain topics no one is stopping you.
-2 vancedecker 2013-12-29
I have no power over you or anyone else so calm down.
I have a keen intuition and am usually correct about these things. I'm trying to help this forum.
You had a good point in your other post about neocon collusion, don't ruin it with a bunch of senseless jabber.

No you didn't you simpleton.
If you posted this post, then yes it would be relevant, that doesn't mean that every middle east story about Palestinians is relevant.

So the Zionist Neocons are incapable of collusion?
. . . alrighty then.
