We were never going to downsize. Did you ever hear anything about shrinking the military budget? What we are planning is a switch to more AI stuff. Yes and No. There's no reason why the US has to be Ukraine's bitch when it can handle its own issue with Russia. The US needs to mind its own business. It does not have "interests" in Russia being threatened by this turmoil, whereas Russia feels it has everything to lose.
