Is this r/conservativepolitics or r/flatearth?

You're addressing the subreddit as a community but fail to take into account that many users do see this. I don't enjoy the generalization.

I agree completely.

I didn't say the entire community were climate change deniers or pollution appologists... I said a "staggering" number of people on her are.

most of you seem to have fallen for...

This is what I disagree with. I do not believe most of us have been tricked. I believe there is intentional disruption to make it appear as such. All it takes is shills or trolls to give such an appearance.

If you regard this community to highly why would you think it's so naive?

Not to be off topic, but couldn't you have started such a conversation in a less deriding manner, and one more open to discussion? Sorry if that's wrong in anyway.

You seem like a denier of some kind; couldn't you have phrased your post in a manner more supportive of OPs views on climate change?

probably, your point?

Sarcasm.

You can't do sarcasm with text, its god damn ineffective. Sorry I suck, and now I get your point sorta.

We must censor their views for not aligning with my mainstream views.. on a conspiracy sub .........lol

I'm against Al Gore and his cabal making billions off of the carbon credit scheme. Are you lumping people like me into your generalizations?

So you would agree that humans are releasing so much carbon in the atmosphere that it is having an impact on the greenhouse effect of the earth, leading to climate change?

I would say that somewhere between Al Gore pushing fear on the masses in order to sell his carbon credits, (which basically allow large companies to pay to pollute) and people who say it doesn't exist, somewhere in there is the truth.

I'm a liberal that believes in climate change and enjoys this subreddit, I guess I don't fit your stereotype.

I used words like a "staggering" number of people here and "most of you". Depending on the post you click on, sometimes the bottom 3/4 of the comments are jokes about Al Gore and how we should run away from global warming...

The BS associated with manmade climate issues runs along both sides of the fence, the very folks who call for radical lifestyle changes are actively engaging in the very behaviors they are wanting to eliminate. That alone makes the argument specious. Plane travel, especially with huge entourages, vast amounts of equipment and security are not conducive to repairing the atmosphere if it is indeed broken. What seems to be most broken is the integrity of the politicians and funded science studies that produce predetermined answers depending on sponsors wish's. No one that has spent any time reading the huge amounts of information on climate change can be considered intellectually honest if they have arrived at the conclusion that current climate issues are or are not definable as cyclic or anthropogenic or both or for that matter is or is not correctable by our actions. One thing is sure, it was 10 degrees this morning and I haven't seen that in the third week of March for most of 35 year. Leave the name calling over where you are.

Climate change is a hoax. Global warming has been happening since the end of the last ice age.....

So you don't believe that humans are releasing so much carbon in the atmosphere that it is having an impact on the greenhouse effect of the earth, leading to climate change? Really?

It's just the best science being done right now, no big deal!

It's just the most corrupt, agenda driven science being done right now

*fixed

Thanks for marginalizing the sub reddit

"Denier."

Not a loaded term at all.

You do realize you can not generalize 200,000k worth of subs as one.

Look at the vote count on the front page.

usually around 1,000-2,000+...Not 200,000k

People post things, it makes the front page...not all of us believe it.

Lol, really? This isn't a political thing, it's a science thing. Conservative republicans have some how turned this issue into a political issue.

Your post was inappropriate. Please refrain from attacking the sub and/or its users. You have been warned.

Shriek as loud as you want, reality is disproving the AGW hypothesis. Every failed prediction by the warmists disproves it. Every year that goes by without an increase in temperature disproves it. You are on the losing side, because you are WRONG. Get used to it.

Please refrain from making accusations of racism, as it is a violation of Rule 1. Consider this a fair warning.

If you see an example of racism here I would encourage you to report it. This sub does not tolerate racism. Any posts I see containing racism will be removed by me personally and will likely result in a ban.

Hi /u/quantumcipher, I know what I said was kind of rude, but can you explain how it's an accusation of racism?

Go back to /r/WhiteRights

Could be considered either a) an accusation of racism, or b) a personal attack.

Either way, it was removed. You are not banned, nor would you be over such a remark.

What I find more concerning is this:

90% of the stuff posted on this sub is bullshit. Having some posts by trolls is like a drop in a bucket.

What's wrong with that sub?

Like I originally said, this is not the place for such talk. I could debate you on this but this sub is not the place.

We can't do anything about the Koch funded voting cabals. But it's not just on this sub. I posted an article about the Permian Extinction which was caused in part by global warming, posted it on /r/science and they rushed to down vote it there. The koches have their billions and Reddit allows them to operate on Reddit. There's nothing we can do.

We've known Al Gore's been in bed with the scissor lift people for years.

Scissor me timbers!
