Welcome to america!

reddit is global, theoretically

Shills are the worst filth the human race ever produced.

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Hasbara

The premise of hasbara is that Israel's problems are a matter of better propaganda, and not one of an underlying unjust situation.

excuse my ignorance but im new to reddit, what does "shills" mean?

People paid to do PR on social media.

A shill doesn't have to be paid.

2. a person who publicizes or praises something or someone for reasons of self-interest, personal profit, or friendship or loyalty.

are they in large numbers so they can manipulate the outcome of votes or making something internet popular or something like that or what?

thanks for your answer but if you could get more detailed it'd be fantastic

i tried googling it but found nothing

Funny, I typed the word shill, first hit is a wiki page explaining exactly what a shill is.

"i tried googling it but found nothing"

I'll call you out on that! Second thing is when I did google it this came up #1...... O' the irony.

http://puu.sh/7QIKL.png

didnt think the word "shill" was enough calm your tits

You just happened on to /r/conspiracy and out of the blue you off topic ask what a shill is?

"Hey Mr.Carpenter...whats a hammer for?"

yes its funny, i dont actually spend 24 hours on the internet to keep track of every word that comes up

excuse me for not being up to the standards you prefer to have in your shitty subsection

no wonder people make fun of this subsection, its users are worse than any other

[deleted]

yeah promoting butthurt people

Amen.

I'd say that some of the ones paying them are probably quite a bit worse.

But the Jew is international.

Of course it was, don't you know that pointing out human rights violations that Israel regularly engages in is anti Semitic? /s

well i'm from germany, so i know exactly what censorship means. u can get into serious trouble if u state out facts about israel here.

I've reposted a different article on the same event here

Let's see what happens to this one, the first thing I noticed was that it was very quickly downvoted haha

well, there is no explanation from the mods yet so i guess they will just delete this one as well or it will get downvoted into oblivion.

Let me plays devil's advocate. What makes Israel "world" news? What makes Palestine "world" news? Sounds like an Israeli/Palestinian local issue.

Brutal? Yes. World news? Probably not.

World News = News stories from outside of the US. So Israel, Palestine, Norway, Turkey, Japan or wherever else is considered 'World News'.

Please, give us an example of world news then.

In all fairness, it was a shit source. "Medical center" my ass.

In all fairness, it was a shit source.

Try this one:

Israel Bulldozers Flatten Palestinian Mosque and Medical Centre in East Jerusalem

"Medical center" my ass.

Yeah, it treated those Palestinian "dogs", so Israelis would have called it a "veterinary center" at best. Right?

Quoting the same source maan news that has in the past blame Israel for flooding Gaza by lowering a dam that cant be moved. The best way to tell when they lie is they have the words: "sources/ witnesses say" because even if its wrong its no longer their fault.

So are you saying that this event didn't happen?

Are you saying that ANY news organization that has EVER reported information that was later found to be inaccurate should be SHUNNED?

Or just the ones that Zionists don't like?

Remember when we were told that Saddam had WMD's and was involved with 9-11? Which news sources reported THOSE lies?

A demolition did happen, no doubt. However it was a residence and not a mosque/ medical center/orphanage. Dont straw man.

A demolition did happen, no doubt.

It happens ALL THE TIME.

Reuters, Fri Feb 7, 2014:

Israeli demolition of Palestinian homes at five-year high: aid groups

(Reuters) - Aid agencies working in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem expressed alarm on Friday at a spike in Israeli demolitions of Palestinian property coinciding with renewed U.S.-backed peace negotiations.

The statement by 25 aid organizations said the number of demolitions increased by almost half and the displacement of Palestinians by nearly three-quarters between July 2013, when the talks began, and the end of the year, compared to the same period in 2012.

Of the 663 Palestinian structures torn down last year, the highest number in five years, 122 were built with international donor aid, the groups said.

The International Red Cross announced this week it would stop delivering tents to Palestinians made homeless by demolitions in the Jordan border region of the occupied West Bank, citing Israeli obstruction and confiscation of aid.

"International and local aid organizations have faced increasingly severe restrictions in responding to the needs created by the unlawful demolition of civilian property, in violation of Israel's obligation to facilitate the effective delivery of aid," wrote the groups, which included Oxfam and Christian Aid.

Lovely, isn't it?

Joshgoozen:

However it was a residence and not a mosque/ medical center/orphanage.

You have VALID cites for your assertions, right? (who said it was an orphanage?)

Keep cheerleading for the Zionist scum, Joshgoozen. You're a real JIDF Hero!

EDIT: Here's a bit of "SNUFF PORN" - just for you!

A building being bulldozed isn't world news sorry. It would have been more well received in a subreddit dedicated to ME conflict.

Simply put it was removed because it wasn't "worldy" enough. It's not a conspiracy.

If you disagree with their policy why do you continue to use their website and give them revenue?

Its part of the bigger story of Israeli Apartheid so yes it's important world news since a lot of people are concerned about the problem.

Pretty obvious shill.

The only reason it's not "worldly" enough is because Palestine is no longer considered a country... because of the bullies associated Israel. This story is a prime example of that tragic bullying...

What is your response to BigBrownBeav's comment? If this incident hasn't been falsified, then it is in fact true that a story like this is crucial in the documentation of crimes against the Palestinians by the IDF. The flagrant abuse of human rights should forever and always be relevant to world news.

As soon as someone equates Israel with apartheid I don't bother arguing with them.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_and_the_apartheid_analogy#By_notable_academic.2C_political_and_media_figures

Nobel Prize Winners, a former US President, high level academics all over the world, government officials all over the world, South Africa, etc etc etc

Seriously?

Just because you say something a lot and loudly doesn't mean it's true.

Also, In regards to the situation within Israel itself, critics of the analogy argue that Israel cannot be called an apartheid state because unlike the South African apartheid racist laws, Israeli law guarantees Arab citizens of Israel the same rights as other Israeli citizens without distinction of race, creed or sex.

In addition, West and Gaza are not under Israeli rule. They ruled by Hamas and the PA respectively.

Nice you read the wiki article. Unfortunately for you, you didn't read the whole thing. Despite the fact the West Bank and Gaza are not ruled by the Israeli government, that doesn't mean they aren't occupied by Israeli forces. This is a fact recognized by the international community. The apartheid doesn't exist in the Israeli state, it exists in the Palestinian state, enforced by the IDF.

I'm surprised I have to go over the basics of the situation, read a book.

Just because you own the international mainstream media and US Congress doesn't make your point of view fact.

And if your going to contest that point, how does the US Congress justify spending cuts across the board for social services an education yet justify and increasing $3 billion dollars a year to Israel. I have nothing against Jews or Israel, I have a problem with human rights violations.

Just because you own the international mainstream media and US Congress doesn't make your point of view fact.

"I have nothing against Jews or Israel, I have a problem with human rights violations."

right.

Anyway, we are in agreement ISRAEL is not an apartheid state. Good. It begs the question though why people call Israel an "apartheid state" even when you say it's not.

And that 3B a year is from the Camp David Accords in 1978. AND it's given to Israel as a subsidy to buy US tech and keep Israel reliant on the US military industrial complex. Foreign aid doesn't affect domestic spending. Read a book.

Naturally since I'm against the unlawful occupation of Palestine I'm an anti-Semite. I can't believe people seriously pull that card.

Here's a nice article you should read: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?cmd=Search&doptcmdl=Citation&defaultField=Title+Word&term=Lu%5Bauthor%5D+AND+Public+financing+of+health+in+developing+countries%3A+a+cross-national+systematic+analysis.

An unbiased examination that foreign aid most definitely does crowd out domestic spending.

developing countries

Lol did you even read the title?

Try harder.

And I definitely called you anti-Semite. quote me on that buddy, will ya?

" Foreign aid doesn't affect domestic spending."

That is incorrect.

Anyway, as a US taxpayer, I think its perfectly rational to take issue with the fact that 3B of taxpayer dollars goes to Israel to buy US weapons tech. How is that benefiting the US taxpayer? Its not.

I don't stand for the abolition for the Jewish state, nor do I really care about how they settle their problems. The issue is that Palestinian innocents AND (while very very few in comparison) Israelis are being killed and their freedoms are being trodden upon. While the bombs blow up and the drones buzz, children are growing up with PTSD, what do you think theyre gonna turn to when they grow up?

"How is that benefiting the US taxpayer?"

It creates jobs for military contractors who are undoubtedly tax payers. In addition Israel and the US colab on military tech and projects.

Either way total domestic spending is 50B, Israel's a drop in the bucket. Afghanistan gets 13B alone. Gaza and Westbank gets 500m. Should we stop their aid for the "sake of the tax payer"? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_foreign_aid

Again, you are deflecting or completely ignoring my questions and ignore the fact that you didn't even read the title of an article you cited. I don't feel the need to address your questions anymore. You seem set in your ways. Have a nice day.

Typical Shill Response. Pwnt.

I got 50 extra shekels for arguing with you! I making Matza today bitch! Looks like I'm going out to dinner!

[deleted]

50 shekels an hour. A man gotta eat.
