I submit all my news to /r/conspiracy because it's a good subreddit and because most of what is news is actually a conspiracy anyway.

Between all of the propaganda put out on the news and the insane direction world events is taking, most news actually does belong here.

I will see people reply to news posts saying, "oh, this is a general interest sub?" but the fact is most news items fit here quite nicely.

I have found that /r/news and /r/worldnews are near worthless now and is way to biased to be eligible as one of reddits most heavily promoted subs.

If they're being deleted from reddit this is a serious power the admins have or delegated to these mods. As such, admins are clearly in support of this and opens more questions. Admins shouldn't be deleting users due to posts made in subs unless it breaks reddit TOS and not the subs rules.

If they're straight up banning people from these subs for not breaking any rules I would flood the admins with this information, their blogs and all over reddit to get people to see what is happening. If the users still refuse to leave they have accepted this practice and deem is acceptable. You can't do much about it, and might be best to unsub and move on to another sub, start your own etc.

You will always have people with an agenda whom have control over the information. The best way is to expose them and capture evidence and submit to the higher authority (admins) for them to see if the reddit terms of service et have been violated and hence mod being removed.

I'm sure the admins are very much aware of this practice but may not want to get involved and micro manage each sub. Likely the best resolution is to remove some of these subs from the default and the admins can post as to why on the front page.

End of the day, we don't know each user account agenda or agreements if any which they may or may not have. Need to accept that when a site such as this gets to big, these things start to happen and the site dies. I'm sure there is a theory/law regarding this pattern. Let it die and rinse and repeat the process.

We've watched as JIDF members have taken over key roles on Reddit, and then just as quickly as they arrive, so do the new rules that always result in additional censorship. A one way ratchet here, always tightening.
