I read Erica Cheathams book in the 1980's and folded down the corners of every page that seemed to be about current times.

"1999 seventh month"," the great King of terror approaches from the sky" uh, oops. but still phenomenal having been written in 1555

I'm not saying the government didn't have prior knowledge of 9/11 but this is just stupid. If you put enough incredibly vague statements together then yes, at some point people are going to say you predicted event x. It's basically a horoscope. If you write with a broad enough scope then it can't be wrong.

I was told in the 1970's about the Nostradamus prediction of WWII and the Kennedy assassination so I casually started reading more.

After I had begun, the space shuttle blew up on takeoff and I remembered that Nostradamus had spoken of people being taken up into the air and killed within view of the entire world.

Now that was so unbelievable, when written and so correct and specific that he had my attention.

I don't regret that attention.

So do you believe that a man who lived centuries ago could see events far in the future?

Actually I don't believe in the supernatural at all but current quantum physics talks about 'quantum entanglement' and 'non locality' and that quantum entanglement can cross time and space barriers.

Those are current physics theories, mentioned on /r/science recently. Not entirely crazy.

Nostradamus himself said to get these 'visions of the future' he had to be grounded with a wet gown touching the floor in contact with two kinds of metal and a container of reflective water.

Unknown to himself but now known to the greater scientific community these are perameters for the flow of energy currents.

Taken together current physics tend to corroborate the possibility of Nostradamus being able to perceive the future.

I'm familiar with quantum theory. This is not that. I'm not even going to try to refute the crazy bastardization of science going on here. Have a nice night.
