Americans should start boycotting every company that makes any campaign or political contributions

Such a boycott would undermine the financial viability of corporations interferring in elections.

At what point does a political contribution become interference in an election? Is there a certain dollar amount or is any contribution?
The Citizens United decision is horseshit and should be reversed, but I don't know how you can legitimately state that a company has no right to make a political contribution.

Any contribution by a company is really just a proxy contribution by the owners of said company. Except the owners don't have to contribute their own money.
I suppose I can't justify not allowing privately held companies to make contributions, but any contribution by a publicly held company is a contribution of someone else's money without their say.

Well I'm glad we settled that.

When it has been shown that the government is a malevolent, fraudulent, criminal organization. (Sorry, I just watched this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TVoeHzvbHQU)

Whats this word, "legitimately" in this context?

Joking aside, I think that would be incredibly difficult even if everyone had the "solidarity" required to even attempt it.
At that point, it would be much easier to start a movement that puts everyday people in office.

How do I boycott Exon Mobil? Comcast/NBC/GE- clusterfuck? The only way this would be possible for me is to live out in the wood in a substance lifestyle. These companies have gotten so out of hand it's almost impossible not to give them money, there is no freedom of choice anymore.

I agree company's are not people. Big wigs "rub elbows". If they share a opinion or belief on a topic they can presuade who is in office and the direction the country takes. If they can donate enough money to shove a political figure in our faces, while the average joe running for the position will not be known because of the lack of money for his or her campaign. Regardless of political experience or knowledge. This can be any political figure from the lowest to the president. It is not ok it's a way that if enough people are doing it they will have their way because they have a hand in everything.

Unfortunately, America is ruled and ran by those very companies you're (correctly) suggestion should be boycotted.

Since it's mostly banks funding these parties and these banks are running the federal reserve, you're going to have to boycott US dollars. Good thing bitcoin exists.

This is something I can get behind. We need an app for that.

What, so you can run it on your totally non-corporate iPhone? Have you seen how much money Apple has? The sheer amounts make them very influencial politically.

He said app, not iPhone app. I was given a free android phone and on it I have some 'non-corporate' apps installed. Should I throw the phone in the bin? Maybe he has a Fairphone. I'm saving for one

Google's Android has disappointed me too. You don't really have much control over it by the time a phone manufacturer has had their grubby mitts on it.
