Has /r/conspiracy stopped doing the monthly documentary then?

What's happened to the monthly documentaries with the highest up voted one getting stuck to the front page every month?

Has it been replaced with the recent influx of AMA's? Can't we do both?

I enjoyed the monthly documentaries.

I agree. There were some great ones who won, but the recommendations from users here during the weekly threads was priceless.

It seemed to really fall out of favor after the Hitler documentary won and this sub got fucking zeroed in on by all the crazy Jew/Zionist people (that we're still dealing with, by the way) and they really fell out of favor.

It is a good idea to bring it back. We were all collectively learning and discussing an interesting topic every week pseudo-anonymously and that can get everyone very excited, very motivated, and very organized. And that stopped. For a reason, I think.

And I say we bring it back.

I agree and nominate you to head it up. Start the post, and I'll contribute.

Outside of this sub, one of the few pleasures I get from this circlejerk of a site is watching the generally spectacular levels of butthurt that ledditors are prone to when their utterly myopic view of the world is questioned, so I would love to see this happen.

Someone was rejected by a Jewish girl in high school.

Actually, now I think about it, I was.

This format is what got me into watching all these docs. The discussion created by users who saw the docs were a driving force to watch more.

Sounds good. You read my mind...was thinking about starting a thread earlier today.

I'm actually wondering who is even scheduled for the next AMA. If the Mods haven't found anyone yet, and in every case when they don't, I definitely think it'd be great alternating between docs and AMA's featured weekly.

seems more like a "sell your book here" than an ama sometimes.....

Yeah, to be fair though, most AMA's are like that in /r/IAmA. "Hey I got a movie coming up!" etc.. At least with how it is here, "controversial" people aren't something we shy away from. If they have done their fair share of research, and people like paying for such info, it's fair game I say.

I believe the weekly documentary was a personal initiative of highlady420.

They brought it back a couple months before 9/11 to set the stage for the Hitler video psyop. Once that was successful the monthly documentary wasn't needed.

i think they got scared after http://thegreateststorynevertold.tv/

but it's back, yeyeye!
