After a few weeks of wondering what happened to controversial film maker/author William Shanley, we have learned that he was arrested 12/31/14 for two misdemeanors and one felony.
According to the pending case detail (linked above) William Shanley is still incarcerated as of 1/16/2015.
Update: My source for this information can be found in the comment section for this blog article.

I thought maybe you got the trillion part wrong, but you didn't!

Well, that just screams instant credibility.

Credibility that the lawsuit is real or credibility that the lawsuit is reasonable?
EDIT: If you are looking for the amount in the linked document then it will probably help to know that it is presented as two claims for punitive damages of $500 billion dollar each.

I think it is interesting that the other "top" Sandy Hook indie investigators are now trying to discredit Shanley and distance themselves from him over Shanley's rant at Prof. Doom. If you read some of the comments here it seems like there is a deep divide. Prof. Doom has made at least two videos where the sole purpose seems to be exposing Shanley as a lunatic that can't be trusted with the conspiracy jewels.
I've known sane people that have social issues and I have witnessed the duality that can exist in a "extreme" type person. IMO, Shanley's rant is not such a huge offense that he should be completely shunned. Of course saying that might make me look like a shill. Everyone's a shill. Paranoia will destroy ya.

Shanley looks drugged in the police mug shot. The CW Wade web site that posted this, is part of the Sandy Hook Truther debunking dirty tricks goon squad. http://sandyhookanalysis.blogspot.cz/2015/01/william-shanley-jailed-for-felony.html
So there are three possibilities: 1, Shanley is having some kind of mental breakdown. 2. Shanley is a cut out or paid useful idiot used to demonize Sandy Hook Truthers. 3. The organized crime syndicate behind Sandy Hook, snatched him, drugged him, disheveled his hair and took about the strangest, ugliest mug shot imaginable. Reminds me alot of the photo-shopped crazed photo used of Jared Lee Loughner in the Tucson Shooting. http://winteractionables.com/?p=15083
The fact that Shanley is still in jail 18 days later is highly suspect, making me lean towards #2 or #3.

We all know that one of the most effective ways to get rid of a well known (or too public to make disappear) trouble maker is put their sanity into question. It's hard not to read into all the comments that conclude that Shanley has gone insane. Lots of bandwagon jumping. Of course it could be that the guy has legitimately caused so many problems that this was the catalyst needed to oust him from the group. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.
EDIT: It bothered me that I reused the phrase "history shows us", replaced with "we all know" even though I don't know if we all know. I'm weird that way I guess.

Interesting that the case information can't be viewed. Was this a good link before? What are the charges?

Resisting arrest. Assault on officer. And breach of peace. Assault was the felony and the others were misdemeanors. I found a YouTube video that explained a tiny bit more. I'm curious how he got involved with police.

William Shanley's background: https://www.linkedin.com/pub/william-shanley/6/67a/820
So we are to believe that a 64 year old guy "assaulted a police officer" in today's Amerika?

More like amerikkka.

they probably showed up with a trumped up charge to arrest him.
the assault his probably a "get your fucking hands off of me"
-2 GoldenTruth 2015-01-17
Yes, lets just make up fantasy scenarios that have no base in fact and say they "probably" happened!

History shows us that political prisoners are often put away on trumped up charges, so it seems a fair statement.

You know you're in /r/conspiracy, right?

Hey man, if you are this guy http://winteractionables.com/, please take down the illuminati-Hollande story. Hurts your credibility. Came across it, during my research today. Cheers.

I don't write just to humor or reach everybody. And I'm certainly not going to be censured by every wag with an opinion or two.

No offence, my friend. Just talked with a French friend about this earlier and thought i'd let you know, in case you thought that was actually accurate.

I've spoken with two French speakers and they both thought that Hollande's word choice was very strange, almost coded.

I wouldn't be too surprised, if there was some programming involved, before he got there. I can say the same for Merkel. I mean she was acting like a robot.
2 ENYAY7 2015-01-17
New london, Ct? Also any article about him being arrested?
-2 kiwisrkool 2015-01-17
Why? Is he being held at Gitmo?
2 ENYAY7 2015-01-17
Fuck off
1 kiwisrkool 2015-01-17
To where?
2 Justlite 2015-01-17
funny how he got arrested on new years eve while everyone is enjoying themselves and not paying attention to the news. Just like a lot of flagrant criminal bills that get passed in congress on that day to avoid public attention and justifiable condemnation.

This wouldn't be something that would make national news anyways. Nobody knows who this guy is unless you are a crackpot who believes him.

Listen to this conversation ... seems kind of a nut to me. Framing a setback for the whole movement, possibly.

Yeah he is nutty for sure. I'm not sure if it was due to him being up two days in a row or the pressure of sticking his neck out, or just that he is a nutcase.
-2 stefgosselin 2015-01-17
They will make an example of him. This dude is in for a hell of a rough ride if he lives through it all.
We all know "accidents" and "suicides" happen.
