As a disenfranchised Republican/Independent I know. It's just that the Republican leadership is nuzzled up so tightly to Obama zipper on this that pisses me off.
It makes more sense to me that they just wait for a good distraction before doing anything that might bother people. False flag theory is a step further, and there are a few really good cases made for those events as well.
Nothing is "always" though, people are just opertunistic.
Every time there is controversial or blatantly unconstitutional legislation on the books, something like this happens. It's called slant news, which diverts attention from the real issues at hand.
No I'm just saying the Republicans will factor this in to their strategy to pass this bad bill. It's crucial for them to pass TPA, otherwise the TPIP will have to be debated in Congress and they can't let that happen. The TPIP remains secret for 5 years after passage.
Okay, maybe someone else can help me out. I've tried scouring my comment history and the New queue but can't find this submission. Someone submitted a self post about active shooter training happening either in NC or SC like a day or two ago.
This shooting seems so set up to me. I couldn't believe when that elementary school Sandy hook was on the news either. Can someone explain to me why the government would be doing shit like this? whats the purpose? gun control to disarm its citizens?
Seriously if that guys wanted to shoot up a bunch of people be it black white or purple.. why the fuck are you going to sport that hair style you could see that guy 2 miles away.
Anyone think it's odd that the media is only talking about gun control instead of the mental health issues of the perpetrator? Why are they talking about the victims and their families it seems strange that after only 24 hours there's already debates on NPR about gun control in the future.

Republicans? Seriously? There's Democrats that want to push this filth too. Quit with the partisan shit, that's exactly what they want you to do.

Haha Yep. And the "news" articles are already saying that he was a (Xanax) pill popper.

Love how every article this afternoon mentions his "drug" use in the headline or lede.

Media slide, everybody.

You do realize that people can pay attention to more than one thing at a time?
3 stapuff6 2015-06-18
Yes, you remind me everytime I post like this, which is OK. I figure some of the new tinfoil hat wearers and casual readers could use a heads up.

The government does things every day. Are you saying any time something makes the news, it's to divert our attention from government?
4 grkirchhoff 2015-06-18
Not every time. For any given instance of a thing happening at the same time they are trying to pass bad legislation, I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't see why you're getting downvoted. It's true.

Obama just basically raised the gun issue in his speech for the victims and families. Probably that.

Way to call it... Front page "TPA Passes"

Not just that but isn't Bilderburg this week too? Media attention will shift to this event.

It was last week.

Yes the TPP being shoved down our throats this morning is a complete non-story. Even though it's 100% treason.
I'm sure most people with their brains tuned to the msm still think "we won" on that issue.
-9 _420CakeDay 2015-06-18
Are you suggesting shooting rampages to block the TPP? That's how you are put on a list
10 stapuff6 2015-06-18
Absolutely not - I'm suggesting that people's focus will be shifted away from the vote coming up today by this tragic shooting.

Good. We like you here, have the mod delete the word conveniently
