Has the paris attacks successfully diverted attention away from the public review of TPP?

Not even /r/conspiracy bothered to remember that it's a thing - they were far too busy declaring what the latest false flag attack was. I think that counts as irony.

Shit i havent even thought about the tpp for 2 weeks

And that is what makes the outsiders look down on this sub. Each event that reaches the masses must have been a setup to push some agenda. Maybe not everything is a conspiracy but I come here for the critical analysis of the mainstream media.

To me it doesn't matter whether a terrorist or government is committing these acts but the heinous thing about them is before the bodies are buried new laws are being written, countries are planning on bombing other countries and most of all the shooter will get all week long news coverage as some sick glorification of his actions.

Successful Psyops, they have overwhelmed us with elaborate events and details across the globe, just so they could "legally" take power. UGH

Weekly sacrifices until TPP passes?

Daily after it passes.

Eerie words.

They are a blood cult after all, gotta please those blood gods.

And the Russian press conference on Turkey buying ISIS oil

I think the end game is two large world banks figuring out what parts of the world they can own with debt before they merge into one global banking elite organization. All this stuff in the media is just junk food for the brain. The real shit is going down behind the curtain.

Just a few hours after the media presentation...

Although I can't speak with any particular knowhow, as best I understand it it the TPP now has to through each member nation's ratification process.

During this process in each country the agreement terms could be changed, altered, rejected - any number of things could happen.

It ain't over till it's over.

In the united states, we passed fast track for the TPP over the summer which means it will only be subject to a yes or no vote, there can be no amendments or public debate.

Honestly, I fell victim to it until I saw this thread today (dammit, they got me). It immediately shifted part of my focus back onto the TPP. Thanks for the important reminder OP!

Why would they need an attack to divert attention away from something that the average person doesn't give a shit about?

or that they can't do anything about?

Its diverted attention from just about everything that matters, not just the TPP. And this applies no matter how you see the event, or what you think it to be. So take /r/conspiracy. When an event like this happens, we're all over it. We attempt to de-construct the event from various perspectives. Some might believe its an event perpetrated by fanatical Muslims. Others, aware of the Gladio operations in the past, might think this is the work of covert agencies. Some will think it's a hoax. But when we're going through all that, our attention is diverted. Our energy is taken up and used. We argue with people about what happened. We argue about the implications. And because we're focussed on the event, we're not seeing something somewhere else. I think it's called "misdirection":

"Misdirection is a form of deception in which the attention of an audience is focused on one thing in order to distract its attention from another. Managing the audience's attention is the aim of all theater, it is the foremost requirement of theatrical magic."

Nice one! I think you may be right!

Soooo. did the whole "right to sue sovereign states to ensure profits" part get taken out? I can't seem to find a conclusive answer on this.

No.

Which chapter was it in again?

I have no idea. But I know it hasn't been taken out, because that's half the purpose of the agreement in the first place. It's a corporate takeover.

Its an organizational restructuring agreement, corporations have always been in charge. This country is a corporation...

Its an organizational restructuring agreement

That's nice marketing jargon.

corporations have always been in charge. This country is a corporation

While true, the degree to which they have been in charge has been changing significantly over the years, and this agreement literally puts corporate profits in a higher position than the law of sovereign countries.

I dont really care at this point its just another example of how statism is a complete failure.

The TPP is now overt, and more collusion than conspiracy.

OP has a good point.

very efficiently

Call your Senators.

Thanks! TTP is back, I dont know why there arent more post about this than false flags... I could make them If I had resources but I dont.

yes; i have no doubt. it is so frustrating to watch the manipulation of people via media. i'm so sick of it i can spit --- watch your feet.

Please tweet this and post it on facebook. I'm pretty good about seeing what story they are trying to bury but this one blew right by me. "It's a shame that all these tragedies had to happen during the public comment period of TPP. Thoughts n prayers"

Who gives a fuck about the TPP when we can scream about right wing Christians, Muslims, Black Lives Matter, zygotes, california gun laws, (insert your pet bias here) and the rest?

It's not like the TPP has a DECADES long effect on wages. It's not like TPP tilts the playing field yet again.

"Western Influence" is GONE. Most people just don't realize it. They think the U.S. runs things. An insulated society is about to find out they don't matter.

Not just divert, but overload. So many events happening that it is hard to focus on one. If you do, you become "obsessed" by talking about a story that is old news.

I asked my FOXnews-loving dad and my mom what they thought about the TPP and they said, "What?" So I directed them to some information about it and how it is being covered news-wise, and I think they could give a dead moose's last shit about it.

Yup.

Yes. Yes it has.

But we all know that it's a done deal anyhow.

prediction, isis goes away and gas prices rise again right after TPP goes into effect.

Most people can only think of one thing at a time. So I think it has.

Everybody thinks one thing at a time.
