Here we go again with the non-conformity shaming, and this time it isn't subtle whatsoever.

Looks like a typical reddit hit job. The part that scares me is the 2nd highest post is about that Michigan/Ohio nuclear readings cover up a while back, and the SLC daycare thing. They're laughing like "we" just got all worked up over nothing. Isn't that kid that found out about those radiation readings still missing? And SLC was shut down on here so hard I still might get shadowbanned for mentioning it.
It will be interesting to see if some news related to either of those two comes across soon, and they want to ensure the narrative is set...
8 STI-ylin 2015-12-07
It's just a normal daycare man. So stop investigating it or else!
1 drk_etta 2015-12-07
Yeah that was so weird. They even shut down the separate site created to look into it. Completely black listed from reddit.
3 Jakdaxter31 2015-12-07
Because you're messing with kids, that's not cool
-3 drk_etta 2015-12-07
What kids? Weren't there only 2 kids ever actually seen?
3 Intrepyd 2015-12-07
Not a Reddit hit job. That thread is representative of how most people view these conspiracy theories -- not just with disagreement, but with exasperated incredulity. The reason is that most of these theories collapse under even very cursory critical examination, and they're left wondering how someone could believe them with such devotion.
If you prefer to spend time in forums deliberately created to cater to conspiracy theories, you might start believing there's some sort of legitimate consensus about their merit, and impose false narratives like "Reddit hit job" when you're confronted with opposition.
My advice. Instead of posting about chemtrails in a conspiracy forum, test your theories in a meteorology or science forum. Instead of discussing vaccines in a subreddit that's also discussing false flags every day, strike up a debate with an expert in the field. Try to disprove your hypothesis to validate it, rather than bask in the false security of an echo chamber. Or, for vaccines i.e., you could review all of the science available (if you can resist cherry picking), and follow the trail in this case to the overwhelming scientific consensus.

Not missing, arrested on a drug charge. There was another final post after release and before the account was deleted.

The amount of cognitive dissonance in there is literally sickening. Someone said in regards to geoengineering, "Some people believe that the government drop chemicals on everyone everyday. I don't know why and don't want to." These people don't even have curiosity.
15 tyrefire2001 2015-12-07
And you talk about cognitive dissonance. A fucking child could see that they were referring to the demented belief that there's a shadowy government agency spraying chemicals from airliners, not to the supposed practice itself.
2 McLeech 2015-12-07
Ayyyy child, the practice itself is a shadowy government agency spraying chemicals from airliners
0 EducatedCajun 2015-12-07
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_LAC
Yeah definitely demented
6 djJazzy_Cheff 2015-12-07
Yeah and to think how CRAZY it would be for the government, or any corporation for that matter, to give us dangerous chemicals in any form. I mean it's not like they've ever been known to do stuff like that before. Sarcasm
6 K4hid 2015-12-07
Exactly... and I just don't get how people can't accept the possibility of it happening...
I mean... it has already been done by the CIA back in the days and there is documents about it. But oh well... there is just no way it would be happening TODAY, in MY LIFE TIME... (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7_C2z6XYVg&index=7&list=PLQYhs2pVqd6u6qGa2CIFQLC9tPgEVreXA)
The holocaust is not even 1 century behind us, but there is NO WAY stuff could happen now... we live in a decent world now! Nothing bad done on purpose against the people is ever done, EVER.

Dude over the last w weeks there have been top rated "fav conspiracy theory" threads. This one was posted in response to that.
2 HangOn2UrEgo 2015-12-07
The top comments were (and always are) stupid shit like "i think they make 1 out of every 100 gummy bears conjoined twins on purpose".
2 Feverdog87 2015-12-07
Yeah and then there were dozens of legit conspiracies in the thread. But either way my point was that this thread is kinda cherry-picking. As is your comment I guess. I just believe you attract more flies with honey that vinegar.
1 HangOn2UrEgo 2015-12-07
The laziest attempts at duhhbunking are usually the top replies to the legitimate comments.
1 Feverdog87 2015-12-07
Yeah that's true. But remember people have been trained to become a resource. If they think too hard then they don't focus as much and are spoiled as a resource. Any person with half a brain knows what's intriguing and what is nonsense. As much as we need more resources behind our cause, we need more thinkers. Its little curious arguments and cases that helped me open my eyes.
9 GromGromUK 2015-12-07
Well the top voted posts are all fair points.
Mandela Effect: Brains are a strange thing.
Posting on facebook that you don't agree with them sharing your data: completely fair point, it's stupid people think that that's enough to stop facebook from sharing their data.
moon landings: It happened, there's no conspiracy there.
Chem trails: one of the stupidest conspiracies out there.
Flat Earth/hollow earth theory: It was created to start debate, no one actually believes it.
Sandy Hook: if you really think it didn't happen, you have issues.

I'm guessing "sorority" is a typo.
What I'm referencing is your casual dismissal of theories that many people take the time to actually research in order to provide evidence for or against them. "Common sense" does not apply in these instances. In fact, an amazing amount of the way the world works is not according to common sense at all. Instead, common sense is what is used for practical situations, such as not jumping onto train tracks to retrieve a dropped bag. The approach to new ideas that you're describing is simply prejudice, arrogance or laziness, or a combination thereof.
1 peterpanprogramming 2015-12-07
Yea how do you explain all of the stonewalling and question dodging and cowardice that the officials have shown in response to wolfgang halbigs investigation?
1 Half_Gal_Al 2015-12-07
thats the point by bringing up these ridiculous theories publicly in an area not connected to conspiracy discussions they are exposing these people only to dumb ideas which makes them think all conspiracies are dumb like that. Remember this thread was targeted at people who arent already in a conspiracy discussion so they can control their initial impressions of conspiracies.
-3 c1utchh 2015-12-07
Not a single child's body was shown. The Sandy hook phenomenon was proved to be false, by the evidence provided by the media.
1 peterpanprogramming 2015-12-07
Yes, the burden of proof is on them and the government, because they are the ones making the claims.

-10 Sarcasticus 2015-12-07
That's certainly debatable.
1 GromGromUK 2015-12-07
No, it really isn't.
Are you stupid enough to think Russia wasn't watching America's every move?
2 Sarcasticus 2015-12-07
That's the spirit! Keep an open mind, that's certainly what we'd expect from someone reading a conspiracy website. All conspiracies are open for debate, except the ones that I don't agree with!
First of all, look at the work of Antony C. Sutton. Specifically, Wall Street influencing the rise of the USSR. One may speculate that the cold war was a hoax to promote the rise of the military industrial complex.
Leaving that aside, one might wonder why the USSR wouldn't spill the beans on the fake moon landing. (As if that's the only piece of evidence that doesn't bring the whole thing crashing down.) I'd invite you to look at the great grain robbery of 1972 - in which the US sold grain to the USSR as a vastly reduced price, resulting in the overnight drop in worldwide grain prices. One may speculate as to why the US would give such a favorable trade to their number 1 enemy at the time. I posit that this did buy, in part, their silence for the fake moon landings.
Regardless, let's assume for the moment that the USSR would've be blown the whistle if they could. Let's put that piece of evidence in the, "Moon landings happened" pile.
As such, the moon landings were a scientific endeavor, and should be scientifically rigorous in its evidence. In that case, the scientific evidence for the moon landings should be massively in favour of them happening, and the scientific anomalies of the mission should be small. I invite you to explain away the following scientific anomalies:
no sign of radiation on the photos aside from visible spectrum radiation (on a planet with no atmosphere, outside Earth's magnetosphere.)
no scale on the LM to account for the weight of the moon rocks brought back
no visible evidence of water exhaust from the PLSS system
the first mammals to travel outside of Earth's magnetosphere were human
the dosimeters on the astronauts agreed with scientists calculations, despite the fact that years later it would be found that the moon was MORE radioactive than first thought
insufficient shielding on the spacesuits to protect against ionizing radiation
the movements of the astronauts are not commensurate with a 1/6th gravity atmosphere
lack of hydrogolic fuel signature upon LM liftoff
explosion on Apollo 13 didn't send them off course, despite the introduction of an outside explosion (violating Newton's third law)
linear liftoff speed rather than exponential acceleration path for LM liftoff (violating rocket propulsion principles)
Not to mention the lack of testing when it came to landing the LM, connecting the LM with the orbiting capsule, the engines that fired on the LM which could only be used once, etc...
So yeah, I'd say the veracity of the moon landings is certainly up for debate, and doesn't hinge on whether or not the USSR blew the whistle.
Further, pertaining to your statements in general:
Who declared you the arbiter of which conspiracies are valid or not? Your attitude seems to be, "I'm right - and anyone who thinks differently about these issues is a moron." Frankly, that's a chilling attitude to carry around with you in a subreddit about conspiracies.
All conspiracies should rise and fall based on their presented evidence. Not because some poster shouted down and insulted those who dared to question these events.

13 ButtVampireZ 2015-12-07
So.. why is someone elses beliefs 'shaming' to you then?
-3 gjorndian 2015-12-07
It's the idea that if something along the lines of: 'What top conspiracy can't you believe that the general public refuses to listen to even when all of the facts are provided?!'
Hit the front page it would get removed..or down voted to oblivion..yet the narritive is totally different when it goes with the agenda.
Being able to think for yourself and not listen to all of the hype and MSM doesn't mean we are all crazy..some of us just use our brain differently.
I agree though that some of the conspiracy shit is crazy..like hollow earth or whatever...fuck I don't know if it's true..I don't think anyone can prove either way.
Regardless..it's the principle that is fucked..not the ideal.
5 ButtVampireZ 2015-12-07

In "The Art of War," Sun Tzu says that at your weakest point, you must appear your strongest to your enemies.
I believe the reason we're seeing a speeding up of all this shit and more and more of it (getting sloppier and sloppier) is because they know they're not operating from such a point of strength any more.
Personally, I am seeing more and more people who used to think me a fringe thinker now coming to me for my perspective on what's really happening, and asking where I get my information and who I trust and what I've read.
Don't be fooled by their posturing. I think the tide is turning.
0 TheMassAwakening 2015-12-07
You're right, they are losing power therefore throwing everything at us to keep us in a state of fear, to destabilise because they know it is the change within us that is going to change the world.
-1 Half_Gal_Al 2015-12-07
I disagree i thought the tide was turning 4 years ago but their conspritard propaganda has been very very effective.
2 IanPhlegming 2015-12-07
I think they made some desperate headway, but it wasn't just "conspiratard," it was Obama getting re-elected, the return of "hope," etc.
All they've done is push it further out so when the waters finally do break, the tidal wave of humanity is going to be even greater. Even they know it.

When you flat out deny the existence of some people's worst life tragedies(e.g. losing a child at Sandy Hook), you should fucking be ashamed. When you publicly accuse real people of doing really terrible things to others with only circumstantial evidence at best and simply paranoid suspicions at worst, you also deserve to be shamed. I subbed here because a lot of these theories are innocuous and it amuses me to see just how paranoid and irrational people can be. What I never see here though are critical discussions about the theories or evidence of any real effort to investigate them. If there is a report anywhere on the internet that contradicts a government statement or mainstream news report, it's proof of a conspiracy.
3 aiguo888 2015-12-07
Was about to post this too.
Psyop as a way to make concerns over possible government involvement in recent "terrorist attacks" seem less credible to the hiveminders?
It wouldn't surprise me, given that the poster posts on "/r/ againstmensrights" and reddit is mostly run by far left femnazi SJW mods and admins that bully people that don't cowtow to their line (it's a safe space after all and not a website to facilitate free speech).

-2 trenchknife 2015-12-07
I suspect just a couple of really talented shills - people who know how to phrase it just so - such that it's easy and safe for others to jump in.
-3 peterson2004 2015-12-07
Well you notice how they rolled out "Reddit Live" so they could more accurately control the narrative. There were lots of threads before this with witness testimony contradicting official accounts.
2 GromGromUK 2015-12-07
But the OP just wanted to know about conspiracy theories people are fed up of.

If it wasn't the world that we are stuck with, it would actually be pretty funny seeing them attempt to attack ideas which they don't even understand. In fact, it can't be a coincidence just how many users respond to completely incorrect versions of these theories.

There's no point whining about ridicule. Just ignore it, you're here to discuss, and/or get informed.

Remember when conspiracy theories where popular on reddit and the US was considered in a pre revolutionary state. People were talking about conspricay theories in real life too everyday three or four years ago. Then the word conspitard entered. Something easy and witty for people to repeat ad nauseum without thinking. Young people dont like feeling like they are being made fun off so they take this new seemilngly more popular opinion. And at the same time racial discord is on the rise with the help of the media. Watch Liberal Media they say everything well crafted to get black people angry and same for conservative media fox is stirring up white people against black people. This is the American governments oldest tactic dating to pre revolutionary war for keeping people from attacking them get the poor people mad at each other and they wont have time to be mad at us.
1 FluentInTypo 2015-12-07
Well, there is about to be a big conspiracy unveiled tomorrow about John Kerry, Russia, the UKraine, Obama, Hillary and some other sbit apparently. They'd want to remind people that conspiracy theorists are nuts before hand.
That and they are probably trying to cover up that the San Bernardino shooters were most likely FBI assets in the "create the threat, stop that same threat" program they have been running with the last few years because they fucked up and the shooters carried oit the plan before FBI could stop them

I read through that post part of the way. What I saw was people mentioning flat earthers, antivaxxers, chemtrails, moon landing hoax, lizard people rule the world, young earth creationism, and climate change deniers. Then there were comments about stupid shit I hadn't even heard of: we built the moon, memories from other dimensions. Those are bullshit. And I am going to look at you like your a moron if you believe that stuff, because yes, you're cognitive abilities are deficient. Hell, I've watched a flat earther video and a few YEC videos on YouTube for shits and giggles.
I really don't see any one here on r/conspiracy posting anything on those theories. Then again I may not be scrolling down far enough down to see the downvoted stuff...
Of course, yes I also saw mentioned flase flags and 9/11 mentioned once, as well as media censorship. We know that shit is real.
I really didn't see this as an attack or smear campaign. The OP asks people what conspiracy they cannot stand. So people are posting the stupidest shit theories, not the most plausible ones. The puppet masters or whatever they are (I Dislike refering to them as "they" but we're kinda lacking a good label for them IMHO) aren't so hands on to be bothered doing some smear campaign. Let's not be so offended or paranoidally arrogant to think r/conspiracy is being targeted here.
And so what if it is? Doesn't change a thing, nor does it bother me.

The one that really stuck out to me (as dis/mis info/psyop) was the person commenting about the sovereign man. This to me is the worse one to slander, because there is a fuck tonne of truth to it, if you understand what it truly means for a US citizen. I'm by no means an expert about it, but from how they were describing it, shows they have no fucking idea what it is and people were circle jerking the poster. Learning the difference between definitions of law is key in getting back our freedom/liberty/self that the founders handed down to us. I'm 100% sure TPTB do not want us knowing that the game is rigged via the Fed and legalese.

Jesus, I was reading a comment where someone proved themselves aliens couldn't have helped humanity develop. His evidence? Our fastest spacecraft goes very fast and hasn't found anything, therefore it must be impossible for aliens to visit us? He just completely disregards aliens might have advanced transportation, then makes a false conclusion about humanity's intelligence and knowledge in relation to the pyramids? Do people even consider possibilities?

1 varianlogic 2015-12-07
It's unfalsifiable, meaning it doesn't mean anything whether you want to believe it or not. If "advanced aliens did shit in the past and then covered their tracks perfectly and that's why there's no evidence" is the debate, neither person on either side of that argument can know they're right.
2 shabbbbba 2015-12-07
I just think it's very arrogant to pretend that you actually know the truth about topics such as that. Obviously you don't know. You can research history and possible theories but there is no way to prove it one way or the other. I have no problem entertaining the idea, but I don't take it as fact either.
