Charles de Gaulle Confirmed CIA Assassinated President Kennedy

Charles de Gaulle’s information minister Alain Peyrefitte, wrote a book which was never translated into English entitled “C’etait de Gaulle” (About de Gaulle). In it the French president, just home from JFK’s funeral, confides to Peyrefitte that he knew that the CIA was behind the assassination.

“What happened to Kennedy is what nearly happened to me. His story is the same as mine …. The security forces were in cahoots with the extremists …. But you’ll see. All of them together will observe the law of silence. They will close ranks. They’ll do everything to stifle any scandal. They will throw Noah’s cloak over these shameful deeds. In order not to lose face in front of the whole world. In order to not risk unleashing riots in the United States. In order to preserve the union and to avoid a new civil war. In order to not ask themselves questions. They don’t want to know. They don’t want to find out. They won’t allow themselves to find out.”

The background to this story is relevant:

DeGaulle kicked out NATO from France because he was aware of their assassination attempts & fomenting coups.

The CIA was brewing a coup against DeGaulle, JFK warned DeGaulle but told him he could not control the CIA.

Thank you so much!!!

Audiobook recommended, if you can't get it, check out the interviews with the author David Talbot on YouTube (or convert to mp3 if no time to watch) especially this one. Talbot also talked with Washington Post (Watergate) editor Ben Bradlee about the JFK assassination and got a virtual admission of conspiracy. Talbot also talks about how George Clooney ordered the first copy of the book to be delivered by courier, to make it into a film, then balked when he found out it was pro-conspiracy.

"The Devil's Chessboard" is brilliant. As is Talbot's other JFK book "Brothers."

Thank you!

I was unaware of the Ben Bradlee conversation.
And the Clooney episode! OMG when did he become such a mainstream dick?

The CIA was created by and for British intelligence but americans are too fucking stupid to realize it, or care. People of the US have no philosophical ideal to inspire them other than religious superstition designed to subjugate them which is why they're owned by Jews.

Maybe you can express yourself without smearing "jews"?

Cause you make some good points, then you go off the rails.

but why.

If you're asking why the CIA wanted de Gaulle dead, the short answer is this:

President de Gaulle supported independence for French occupied Algiers. Of course the CIA and the corporate cartels they represent wanted to keep Algeria under their thumb so they could continue to steal their natural resources.

So they tried to kill de Gaulle, but failed because de Gaulle's driver slammed on the accelerator and save the occupants of the car as they were being ambushed.

If you asking why the CIA wanted President Kennedy dead, and succeeded, the short answer is this:

JFK was removing all US personnel from Vietnam by the end of 1965, yet the CIA and their corporate clients wanted war for profit.

So they succeeded in killing JFK largely because they learned their lesson from the failed de Gaulle coup, and the driver of JFK's limo paused long enough for the fatal head shot.

Have you read this section in the original French? If so, could you paste it here?

I don't read French. Sadly.

My question being do you actually know this is a quote from the book?

I know from trusted sources, but not first hand because--as I said already--I don't read French. And the book wasn't published in English.

Feel free to read the book and correct me if you prove the quote inaccurate.

I know from trusted sources

Such as?

Bite me. I've already provided a sourced quote. Believe this quote as truth or not.

You clearly have an agenda and I don't care what you think.

I care about communicating with those who have less of an anti-JFK agenda.

I have an anti-JFK agenda?

You're a time sink with a clear agenda and a waste of time.

Eff off.

My agenda is applying basic skepticism to claims in order to determine their validity.

Well, I'd have to see it in the book first.

My question is if the quote is actually in the book in the first place.
