Does anyone here watch Mr. Robot?

I feel like it's very cryptic and warning us of things to come...especially the opening to the 2nd season.
Thoughts?
Only talking about this because we know that TPTB like to hide shit in our media.

Everything on television is a distraction

I watch it. I love how they eliminated all debt in season one and in season 2, the news acts like its bad for the economy.

It's a great story, but so far feels a lot like predictive programming of The Hunger Games and other recent dystopian films.
"You can do it, you can totally have a revolution. LOL. Just kidding. You have no idea how small and powerless you are."

I thought it was interesting that they murdered a dude for being a 'crisis actor' - even though he wasn't one, in the show -- it probably caused a lot of people to google the phrase.

That's because it's more important for them to stereotype all conspiracy theorists as basement dwelling losers or fringe lunatics with schizo-anarchist proclivities. Make people afraid of what hunting for the truth can do to you and they'll never be motivated to do their own research and keep buying the shit you feed them for fear of being ostracized.

Watched the first season - I wonder that nobody mentioned the obvious similarities to the movie Fight Club, like the goal to eliminate debts, his split personality, the way he talks to himself... geeez, even the soundtrack! However it made me curious about hacking, respectively about the vulnerability of my own system. I started learning about it.

Learn Python and either dual boot or get a laptop and load Kali on it.

Thank you, stranger! Will do.

Skal.
Also be wary of running in root, makes you a little more vulnerable I've heard

The end of season 1 was a Bilderberg meeting

You never know. Some don't watch TV at all. I personally know quite a few people that just watch Netflix and Mr. Robot is not available on Netflix. "Most" people on Reddit isn't what this post is about...I am looking for those that are aware of what I am talking about.

I'm one of those Netflix people. I've never even heard of Mr. Robot until just now.

I watched the first episode, thought the guy was a creepy little busybody with his coworkers/friends. Maybe that's just me.
I'm starting episode 2 now, hope it's worth it.

I don't think he's supposed to be a likeable character.

Oh ok, good. Just the other day I was surprised my friend didn't watch breaking bad because she thought Walter White was a jerk. Now me doing the same lol.
I'm trying to find it online at putlocker and watch32, but what they have labelled as season 1 seems to be season 2... well I guess I start here:)

Use fmovies.to and type it into the search bar, really good quality

Aw shit, cool. Thanks for the recommendation.

Use ProjectFreeTV, that's my favorite. And yes, Elliot is meant to be an anti-hero like Walter White. First of all, he is breaking the law. Second, he has all these "weird" quirks that would make it heard for people who don't share those (drug use, anxiety/depression, etc) to relate to him.

Thanks! I'll check that out. I guess in this case an antihero finally succeeded in having a quality that put me off.
As I'm watching more, I see the appeal. I'm glad i gave it another shot.

It gets better, i dont really watch tv too often but this is the first show I've actually been excited to watch

They repeatedly mention the 'five-nine' attack in the premier. Could be signaling something for sept 5th in Europe. Just throwing it out there in case something happens.. Then again, it's like every other day now something happens soooo

I think its overall a good thing, hopefully it will open some peoples eyes :)

I definitely felt some warning bells going off in the first two episodes!

first episodes of first season was good, then it is just mumblings of a guy with schizophrenia, unwatchable

About mid first Season it bored me and I stopped watching. It started quite fascinating with an unique raw/visceral/real feeling but then it felt like it lost focus.

Thank you, stranger! Will do.
