Lots of movies contain conspiracies that are just regular crimes, like fraud. And not necessarily the more fringe element like aliens or government intrigue.

Not a movie but if you haven't seen the original X files seasons 1-5 you really should. After that the quality kinda takes a dive.

I would argue for the first 7 seasons being great. season's 6 and 4 are my favorite.

There is a found footage film called "The Conspiracy" that used to be on netflix, but is no longer. It goes full blair witch, and you might be into that, but the first 15 minutes of the movie are completely awesome and the first time I saw it I was unsure if it was a real documentary or not. They had a great actor really take to the streets and preach truth to people, real people, without getting permission.

The babylon 5 series is awesome, its a tv show from the 90's. Kinda boring and 90's cheeze some times but it makes for really good watch before bed.

The first X Files movie was good and obviously JFK although it was not really a coherent theory just a random collection of different ones.

Some distopian sci-fi movies are saying a lot of truths : Dark City, Brazil, Gatacca, Children of Men, V for Vendetta, Snowpiercer, Code 46, current HBO series Westworld ..... and they are easy and fun to watch.

I just rewatched Conspiracy Theory, and I really think now that movies are a way of telling us things we are not suppose to believe.
