Does anyone remember the earthquake prediction someone made last week?
227 2016-11-21 by TheShadowGovernment
Does anyone have a link to the thread? I believe he said between the 18-20th. Well a gigantic Earthquake just hit off the coast of Japan.
A day late, but does anyone remember this thread?

Create a new sub earthquakepredictions
4 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I am sure they have one -
the problem is it isn't a prediction. It is all based on the inference of data-
1 We_are_all_satoshi 2016-11-21
In curious now, what's the difference between a prediction and an inference from past data. Are you referring to the paradox known as "past performance is not indicative of future performance"? When all we have is past data to go by. Is there another way to predict without knowing past data?
8 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I could say without any data there is going to be a car wreck outside my home.
I suppose it may seem trivial, but 'Predict' (at least to me); Comes off like "magic".
I don't come to a belief because the voice in my head told me. I come to a conclusion based upon data exploration and testing various hypothesis.
1 FUCK_YOU_REDDIT_CUNT 2016-11-21
Invalid question: prediction is a word that can mean one based on nothing or very certain data.

What is the sun telling you in regards to powerball numbers?

Works for me.
Sure thing!

Ok, so what is your next step?? Congrats btw, I think...

I truly feel Californias northern coast will exhibit a 5.0 somewhere in between the aftershocks (within 7 days). Likely alaska also-
0 Apexk9 2016-11-21
so that prediction isn't based on data but gut? I like gut feelings.

Sounds more like a combination of both.

Uhh...any chance solar flairs predict lottery numbers?

If they could I would be rich haha. However there is a winning advantage if you persistently study the mathematical algorithms involved; No system is unbeatable or so they say :)

Hey what about New Zealand's earthquake? Is that of importance?
1 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
All earthquakes are - However I try to find remarkable data points, pointing out potentially vulnderable regions, that will more or less provide an adequate argument with the variables in play.
Essentially I could say 1.2 in california. How note worthy is that. I do however have two witnesses that can verify (Even showing a back dated email) That I did indeed write; Which shows I had made such a private announcement to them.
To me that was the main Event that stimulated the activity that we saw postulate in Japan. I believe USGS has it all wrong essentially, and that there is a direct correlation to the largest seismic events and cosmic radiation via solar wind streams.
1 Not_a_doctor_6969 2016-11-21
So since you can tell the future? Are there any natural disasters coming for the South East US?

I can't predict the future I apologize -

It just starts with the sun. Solar winds slow down and store energy in the earth, solar winds stabilize, energy is released, volcanos erupt, plates shift , boom earthquake.

Well done, /u/GlobalHell! You put yourself out there with a risky claim, and I recall thinking two days ago "ha, that dude was wrong!" Now, I think you were spot on, even down to the country.
You're doing great work - please keep it up!
7 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I was pretty sad when winds didn't recede to the area I felt was indicative of the events described. I felt that if the current coronal holes wind speeds increased rapidly the event wouldn't have postulated. Thus I felt equally as disappointed initially.

Ok, now do an AMA.
Or post a new post with your methodology.

Yeah with those big words and numbers and acronyms I don't know!
But in seriousness id like a new post

This is an ama haha. Its not too hard to understand; And I am sure they will refute everything I say...
It is weird because I find myself saying "I am not crazy!" "Wait?"
4 -I-I 2016-11-21
How does this feel?
5 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
It is sad that I am still trying to locate the user that lived in japan.
I am most worried about fukushima daichii reactor 1's cover not being in position and collaborating with another forum to mitigate a nuclear disaster - and insure the safety to others. I suppose it feels nice that people may begin to take the science in as a more validated way of future eq predictions :)
6 applextrent 2016-11-21
Yes, but don't recall the link.
5 K0LA 2016-11-21
Yeah I was just wondering about this as well.
4 jdotg 2016-11-21
Yes, sun spots or something. Perhaps he should share his methods
9 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I pretty much did?
It's not too hard to understand. Basic cause and effect vs data available. Not too hard to understand :)
4 jdotg 2016-11-21
My apologies! Ill reread the post. I skimmed it, and blew it off, as quackery. Jokes on me.
7 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I would have done the same thing more than likely - I might have read it and not immediately dismissed it; But buying into it is typically done post judgement -
2 jdotg 2016-11-21
Did this event provide you with information that will make predictions more accurate, or do you think your methodology is refined as possible in that respect?
Im sure, someone in japan would love to see that post. I remember reading they have even used snakes as predictors of earthquakes.
Edit: accurate in regards to time. You even called the location.
3 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
If anything I just hope to push the narrative into the main stream world of science, as there are many arguments that either validate the relationships or refute them.
I believe my own personal theory will always lack the financial tools, and private research that could easily be conducted by a higher scientific researching center. But their requests of funding, and team leadership, as well as team members need to be fully on board with the concept. I think you either get a lazy scientist that discredits it entirely, or a single researcher that's funding and resources are too shallow to make a real dent in the field. The financial aspects, and the "predetermined" outcomes, are what are stopping this field from making progress, and users like suspicious observers, are charlatans, that are making future funding options / platforms less considerable. I really would like to give him credit for attempting to gear towards the science itself, but by ripping off thousands of people with a failed eq prediction application. He has tarnished the entirety of the science as a whole; Which is why people typically take these posts as laughable first glance-
2 Apexk9 2016-11-21
Keep predicting earthquakes correctly and well you'll have everyone listening.
3 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I am making extreme progress on my theory due to another users suggestion. Should be updating forum soon ;)
2 Apexk9 2016-11-21
If correct you can save lots of lives with preventative measures.
7 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
That is my only actual goal in this.
If I were profit oriented I wouldn't have posted it in a public forum by example. I truly think I made a huge breakthrough tonight :)

May you celebrate your uniqueness vividly.

Have you tried it? then your opinion isn't based on fact and is actually an anti-scientific approach to the creation of an opinion.
But do you bro.

1 Vernard93 2016-11-21
I too am late to the party and was skeptical. I am now more open to the idea that the sun plays a key part in seismic activity.
3 ThrowOneInForRand 2016-11-21
/u/GlobalHell thoughts on this: http://mediawhores.co.nz/2016/11/14/worlds-biggest-seismic-testing-ship-amazon-warrior-parked-on-top-of-new-zealand-fault-line/ ?
Linked in another thread on the recent quake with the comment suggesting the blaster at the start of the article was to blame. Personally I found the article to be a bit ridiculous and decided not to finish it, but from what I did read it doesn't actually imply the blaster did it, but possibly it's related to oil drilling around NZ and it definitely makes a claim navies/govts were aware of it beforehand.
My main question, do you think they've got the same technique as you're using hidden behind the veil?
1 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I try to base my thoughts on solar observation.
NZ is known for large seismic events, and naturally, the research vessel could have been in the area due to existing signs of stress build up in the area- I just don't speculate on manmade; Intentional disasters, because in my maybe naive and young mind; I just don't see people intentionally trying to cause harm to others, by creating manmade disasters. I hope that helps?
2 cngfan 2016-11-21
Good to see more interest in this. I've been following Suspicious0bservers on YouTube for a few years. That channel points out similar studies and information about solar activity and correlations.
It has me suspecting there is a greater correlation between solar activity and climate change than they realize, and less anthropogenic climate change.
Thanks /u/GlobalHell, for posting so much good info! I think this is well worth studying.
3 GlobalHell 2016-11-21
I do too - Probably sounds stupid to say -
What pisses me off about ben I.e.Suspicious0bservers is he literally has funding and resources, yet appears to be focusing on the wrong areas of relationships with seismic / solar incidences. His application didn't register these as an example.
I like this research, and I may have been performing it far longer then he had - Dutchsinse, and SolarObserver were the originals; I have a handle I just don't self promote.
Neways - This was an openly talked about thing that I feel he turned into a corporation. What went from an open community of researchers became a funding competition, and User's like myself that lacked funding were ousted out of our own perspectives within the arguments on the table.
Not only that his Push for funding and rushing a bugged not working application only showed the bulk of his intentions, being infringed by profits, and I think he owes his users an apology for accepting donations on a non vetted application in the first place.
If you want to go public and be the chairman of the society, that is good and fine; But if you want to make us look like were pseudo-scientifically speaking cons, then kindly fuck off - He didn't need to launch his Application, and to me it is an edison vs tesla argument. While I respected his original ideas It's now a claim of glory in which his team does all the real brainstorming, and he essentially collects the profits. Again that would be fine, but after pushing the application it truly urges future researchers requesting grants and funding, Hopes for aide deep into a coffin they will be locked in for all eternity.
(Sorry if that was a rant), Just a personal grudge -
There is really beginning to be a lot of people making progress in this field though, and I think were just years or even days away from making a real connection!
So I truly hope articles that are crowd sourced like this, will help make all the difference. It is all the questions being asked and brainstorming going on that truly makes others intrigued. And that is what makes all the difference :)

1 eleminnop 2016-11-21
Oooh I 'member!
Not really a conspiracy though, the guy used science to predict a natural event. This is like seeing dark clouds and predicting rain.
2 TheShadowGovernment 2016-11-21
The type of science he used (which I am starting to think has some real truth behind it) is not widely accepted. So in a round about way it is kind of a conspiracy. Definitely an oddity, which I think people on this board can appreciate more than most.
1 di_ib 2016-11-21
I haven't been keeping an eye on his predictions but he did call the NZ quake weeks in advance. Frankie
