I am an idiot. The certified results say Clinton had 65 million voted. I under estimated. 48.2% of the vote to Trumps 46.1%. As I said, he's not supported by the majority.
It really doesn't matter if Hillary won by 20,000,000 votes... We have this little thing called the electoral college... When you vote you are voting for the electorates not the president. I really wish people understood this as it's been this way for decades.
Hillary took more than 60 million votes. she took 65.8 million. The whole point was letting our Aussie friend know that the majority didn't support Trump in the election.
Wrong. The majority actually did vote for Trump. Trump supporters were afraid to show support, they were afraid to talk to friends and family who thought otherwise. When did these people show their support? In the voting booth.

I like Game of Phones. That must be the Murdoch paper.

It is. In fact, 6 of the 8 pictured are owned by Murdoch (Sydney Morning herald and financial review being the 2 that are not)

Australian friends, please remember that this idiot is not supported by the majority.

He was voted in by the majority, no?
n/a uhuhuhu 2017-02-02
No.
n/a AuGlove5 2017-02-02
Trump received roughly 60 million votes. Clinton received 63 million. Others split 7 million votes. 90 million eligible voters chose not to vote.

Oki did some quick reading up on your election and the logistics thereof... That sucks.

It was designed to do exactly what it did. Keep the country from being held hostage by a handful of population centers.

Not in the United States.
Nobody got a majority.
n/a AuGlove5 2017-02-02
Definition of majority: the greater number.
n/a JamesColesPardon 2017-02-02
Less than half the country.
And off by how many Electoral Votes?

You are correct, but irrelevant to the original comment.
n/a jasper1056 2017-02-02
Not really, as some of the comments I was responding to were related to being salty about Hillary winning a majority vote when it means shit.
As I stated, Hillary could have taken 60,000,000 + votes by the people and it still wouldn't have mattered due to the electoral college.

Majority = 3 million less people in the voting booths. Ok.
Alternate facts, get your alternate facts here folks
