Well, according to the voat post, the container was supposedly 1100 kgs and contained "271 pieces of plastic jewelry". 1100 kgs is about 2425 lbs, so that comes out to about 9 lbs/ "piece of jewelry". Wayyyy to heavy for jewelry, but way too light for kids. Who knows wtf was in there. Definitely shady though

Legal import documentation requires the contents, Tare (the container) and total weights to be listed. A 40' sea container weights close to 9000lbs empty. I speak from experience (I worked in shipping for 10 years) when I say that mistakes and stupid people happen and it is absolutely possible that some moron decided to ship 270 pieces of jewelry by sea container.

Maybe the count is boxes of jewellery. 2000 individual pieces of jewellery wouldn't fill a container.

That is not what happened but nice try at simplifying it and not remembering what happened.

So I haven't seen anything about this place before but it the doxing seems like something that certainly happened to a degree. Suddenly you have all these people going to their website, going to the building, going up to the place and taking pictures, etc. All compared to when no post is going and there's no one nagging the place. If it is a legit child care center, I doubt they want tons of internet detectives constantly jumping to conclusions and harassing the place by doing things like taking pictures from just outside the windows. If something is going on, I suppose I wouldn't be surprised. But I don't know if a place that takes care of kids not wanting randoms coming up and constantly basically harassing the place is really an indicator that they're trafficking children. If you watched kids, what would you think of some middle-aged guy coming up and taking pictures of the inside of the place? I might even think those people are into kids.
