Not suprising of course but Im looking for my cat videos and nudes and its very annoying to scroll past endless liberal mindwash post. I can't just eliminate one subreddit either because this shit is fucking all over this site now. Wtf happened? This site was fine a couple years ago. Fuck

The internet's operating core is transferred from the US to Geneva.

What? Source?
1 seval87 2017-08-13
common knowledge on this sub no?
1 Royalarchduke 2017-08-13
Thanks, had no Idea about any of that.

ICANN.
It's complicated, very.
https://icannwiki.org/ICANN. Good luck making sense of that.
1 dystopi4 2017-08-13
But that has nothing to do with reddit frontpage
1 xleb1 2017-08-13
Is this hate speech against cats??
1 dickrichards997 2017-08-13
It was the same when gwb was in

Guess we'll never know since your account is 2 months old

Every time I think of the main subs (which I wouldn't call liberal as much as astroturfed), I think of the product life cycle. At best, Reddit as a site is nearing the end of stage 3; maturity. Otherwise it's in stage 4 which is decline.
Happens to every product, especially websites and tech-related things. Reddit is no different.
1 Eduel80 2017-08-13
Oh I've had that feeling. It's starting to turn fast too. Man that stage 1/2 is so awesome too! It's like a new drug before your body has had a chance to build tolerance!
1 PhunnelCake 2017-08-13
Maybe we are witnessing the oversaturation of information in the information era? I think we are getting a hangover as a society from too much information. Couple that with secret programs like Mockingbird and who knows what's even going on?
1 Antifactist 2017-08-13
Replace "alt-right" with Muslim for an smh laugh
1 notmadjustnomad 2017-08-13
This site is blatantly astroturfed by both sides and several corporations.
1 kbwildstyle 2017-08-13
The front page has the same amount of propaganda it's always had, the only thing that's changed is this sub transforming into an enormous pro-Trump circlejerk for you alt-right fuckwits.
1 HereWeGoAgainDude 2017-08-13
Reddit is liberal dude. If you don't like it, go find another website. You won't change a damn thing by whining about it here.
1 edfromla 2017-08-13
Politics has infected every medium. It's been like this since election time.
1 Hot_Sauce_Abuela 2017-08-13
So true. I remember when BlackPeopleTwitter was actually funny ... before it decided its agenda was to be a change agent by becoming "r/politics II - what you get when black social media jokes and commentary are infused with r/politics mental illness before posting"
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
Compared to what? Jesus Christ, if you can't look at a forum and not take everything in all at once then get off Reddit. You don't have to believe everything, and unverified sources end up getting deleted. Unlike the Donald.
1 Hot_Sauce_Abuela 2017-08-13
Sorry TwoUmm. I didnt mean to offend, and I can see how my comment could be offensive. I should have probably used a term like fervent zealotry or hyper-partisanship or something like that.
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
That's better.
1 KillerK0ala 2017-08-13
fucking LOL
1 Askmenothingok 2017-08-13
What I love is how r/politics links to OP-eds as if they're news
1 Askmenothingok 2017-08-13
It's basically r/whitepeoplerbad
1 ready-ignite 2017-08-13
This is the Reddit monetization strategy.
1 rareiamgery 2017-08-13
I feel like the every evening news program she start "Good evening, we hate Trump and now the news from that perspective".
I don't really like Trump and never have, but the bias everywhere is bad.
1 edfromla 2017-08-13
Good point. It also seems that Hollywood is completely in on fucking killing Trump. Openly encouraging violence or a coup or whatever the fuck. I don't give a shit about him in terms of partisanship, but it's obvious that it's trendy to hate this guy.
1 rebuilt11 2017-08-13
honestly this is so true reddit has change since the rise of the political sub...
1 Acebacon 2017-08-13
I'm so close to deleting this app off my phone and having all this whining out of my life. The problem is there's those couple subreddits I love...
1 bushperson 2017-08-13
If you need a safespace, whitelist only the subs you want to see.
1 AddictedReddit 2017-08-13
Even the damndest subreddits are political.
1 Rockin_Dead 2017-08-13
It might have something to do with the Nazi terrorist attack yesterday.
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
Its been like this for much longer than that.
1 NoLaNaDeR 2017-08-13
You block my path and attack my vehicle with an angry mob and I guess I'm a terrorist too.
1 dfu3568ete6 2017-08-13
Amazing the amount of posts that are made every day bashing people for simply being liberal. Meanwhile posts bashing people just for being conservative happen once in a blue moon. Beyond the partisan hackery it shows it also undermines the fact that having a balance between both viewpoints is generally the best route.
1 Jadehelm522 2017-08-13
Nudes? Wtf? Get a girlfriend
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
Id rather jerk off than deal with all the bullshit involved in relationships.
1 Acebacon 2017-08-13
It's cheaper too...
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
Yes, more money for cidar and garlic sausage.
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
First of all, brainwash. Second of all, did you make a post like this when the Donald took up All for weeks and weeks?
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
Its all the same shit. Left or right its propaganda ment to play you into their devide and conquer strategy.
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
You can barely spell, how could you possibly comprehend just how wrong you are? They aren't the same. Neither are purely good, but one is inherently more evil than the other.
1 synagogue_of_satan 2017-08-13
One kind of propaganda is inherently more evil than the other, eh? Fuck off
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
Technically yes, but that's not what I said or meant. One party is inherently more evil than the other. Which is the right wing.
1 synagogue_of_satan 2017-08-13
ya, no.
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
Well put. Very articulate. Fuck off.
1 synagogue_of_satan 2017-08-13
ya, no.
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
What you consider good or wrong is your opinion. Also if you can understand what Im saying than it doesn't very well matt3r if its spelled correct. Gramar Nazi.
1 Acebacon 2017-08-13
It's a reddit comment, not a thesis paper ya idiot.
1 TwoUmm 2017-08-13
Doesn't mean you have an excuse for not knowing how to spell. It makes you look stupid. There's even spell check.
1 azentrix 2017-08-13
Reddit seems smaller, there's less quality content, you can either get rehashed old shit, thinly veiled advertising or political psyops.
The time is ripe for a new reddit (no not voat or another clone).
1 Acebacon 2017-08-13
Exactly. I'm sure it's larger than ever, but it sure doesn't seem that way.
1 azentrix 2017-08-13
Keep us in small bubbles, in controlled streams :)
1 Acebacon 2017-08-13
I like you!
1 Space__Stuff 2017-08-13
Saw one the other day "studies show brexit was due to low levels of education". I was like woooooowwww kayyyyyy
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
Unrelated but do you have a steam Im all the way into space games. Pm your steam if you wanna shoot some alien scum or whatever.
1 Space__Stuff 2017-08-13
Think about it though. Reddit is the perfect platform for public thought control. It's been compromised pretty much entirely.
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
If only people could think for themselves and not seek approval..
1 synagogue_of_satan 2017-08-13
almost all of reddit is propaganda now it's really bad
1 mittedsub 2017-08-13
almost all of the mainstream internet is propaganda now, its fucked.
1 synagogue_of_satan 2017-08-13
I wonder when it will stop...we really need a site that is not censored and astroturfed...they exist (blockchain tech) but not being used as widely yet. Maybe I should move and just leave this behind.
1 BigYellowLemon 2017-08-13
During the election shit was crazy
Like a little bit after Trump was elected, this made it to the frontpage: https://www.reddit.com/r/science/comments/5r4ogx/journal_of_primatology_article_on_chimp_societies/
When an event happens, there's often a couple of other frontpage posts that relate to the event in a way, but it's not exactly obvious, it is subtle.
