People are truly afraid. It seems like everybody has gone mad. Many conspiracy theories have come true, and people are looking for answers and the truth. They come here and they learn something.

Learn that you should be free.

They'll only learn something if they can parse through the shills and partisan bullshit, atm there is a highly concerted effort to ensure this sub can no longer provide that. A message to any newcomers from someone who has only been here since October- leave partisanship at the door. You can be Left or Right and still respect each other as human beings, so that we can discuss the corrupt nature of our government and our world. We can debate the role government should play in our lives once we destroy the ruling oligarchy that has ensnared our government for decades.

Never take the initial Corporate Media narrative at face value, critical thinking begins by always questioning, always asking why things are the way they are, how they got there, who benefits from what actions and what motivations they might have. Parse through the bullshit and you will find here before you a cornucopia of knowledge and new ways of thinking you never knew existed. Look for the real, recognize it, appreciate it, become it. Once you begin the journey down the rabbit hole, in just a few short months you will find yourself entertaining thoughts and opinions you considered unthinkable before you embarked on the journey.

To those who have been here for many years- thank you. The nameless and forgotten contributors of every esoteric, critical, deep, analytical post I've ever read here- thank you. You have helped provide a redoubt of critical thought on Reddit now isolated and increasingly under attack by TPTB, please keep commenting, browsing, and speaking your mind regardless of downvotes. You make very good points on how we should engage in critical thinking, while respecting each other and working together to find truth. I don't come here to insult other redditors. I come here to learn and occasionally give my two cents worth. I also come here because it is one of the few subreddits that promotes freedom of speech.

I think it's more about pushing the racial tension angle rather than necessarily about burying something else. Maybe part of it is the fact that some of the corporate media has been FINALLY publishing reports that expose how Guccifer 2.0 was almost certainly actually local leaks rather than a hack over the Internet.
