Anyone else concerned the Charlottesville rallies will segway into taking our right to protest away?

Not necessarily saying I think it's staged, but I could see it being used against us

Eh... I've never protested before... and nowadays it just seems like a protest is the cover story to setup a riot.

It does seem that way. There are many more "counter" protests that I see. It is our right to peacefully assemble. That is how, yet the internet now, ideas are shared. The top realize that they are losing. This will be huge. I wouldn't worry.

What does that even mean?
1 SlopDidelybop 2017-08-18
What exactly are you having difficulty processing?

I am honestly having trouble with all of it, not trolling or trying to be stupid, but could I maybe get a rephrasal?

It just seems as there is always opposition protests that seem to get more coverage. With ideas is the rapidity of thought that can traverse, obviously nations, earth. Just as a wounded animal lashes out, those whom like cover are being rooted out. This scares them. Recent events are going to be the taken card that can not be put back and a lot of people want answers. Suffice?

Yes, thank you, that made a lot more sense to me.

Real protests won't get sympathy from the mass media. Real protests will be stampeded as fast as possible. Real protests will not be televised by the government.
1 IndigoMD 2017-08-18
What is a real protest?
1 Mrexreturns 2017-08-18
Like one actually and legitimately opposing global tyranny, or asking for 911 truth, or asking to investigate pizzagate.
1 IndigoMD 2017-08-18
So one subjectively "legitmate" protest opposing "global tyranny"
So what you did was invalidate anything that doesn't align with your belief system.
Was BLM??? not real protest or are you content with police brutality?
9/11 truth is going to prove what exactly?
Childish ambitions leading you full circle.
Ignorance starting where you finished.
1 GoddamnFreemasons 2017-08-18
BLM is funded by George Soros. The establishment wants the race war to continue to distract from crimes against children (pizzagate) committed by elite politicians and people in positions of power.
1 IndigoMD 2017-08-18
Lol oookay.
Ngl that was stupid it's almost like theres more than one issue going on in the world. You're just using BLM as a boogie man to justify you're stupid ass thought process.
BLM has nothing to do with pizzagate.
What if pizzagate was being used so people like you then discredit BLM because the elite want to keep their militarized police and unchecked abuse?

Real protests were stamped back during the run up to the Iraq invasion.
All fake up stuff since then.
Yes they want to outlaw public protesting and demonstrations.
Something that has already been pushed at the state level in 18 states.
1 airbarf 2017-08-18
You're right, I don't think they would glorify a protest on the news that they didn't want to add strength to. When you say "mass media" do you mean the biggies like CNN and Fox? DemocracyNow mentions protests that seem more legit, and they are supported by listeners only.
1 Mrexreturns 2017-08-18
Democracy Now is a shill organization too, but of course the big guys are the worst offenders.

We are all going camping. FEMA style. I talked the other day to someone who works with the government helping the homeless, and he CONFIRMED that the homeless are currently being put into FEMA centers. This is no bullshit, and this guy don't lie. It will only get worse.

Even if they're really hard to tip over, those gyroscopic people-mover things don't scare me a bit! Gonna take more than that, bitches!
But srsly: https://nationonenews.com/2017/08/14/just-ripped-mask-off-jason-kessler-internet-forever/

Are you thinking of when Union strikers were shot for protesting working conditions, or do you mean when antiwar protestors were shot? Maybe you're thinking of civil rights protestors who were arrested, sprayed with fire hoses, attacked with dogs and had their leaders assassinated?
Wait, we have a right to protest?
1 groman32 2017-08-18
Everything so far as been child's play compared to the Battle of Seattle in '99. I wouldn't be concerned.
1 Guano- 2017-08-18
They are already requiring permits and throwing around the word permit to justify a free speech rally. Not to mention as soon as you do assemble police call it unlawful with no due process.
Your right to free speech is already gone.
1 FORKinmyDICK 2017-08-18
I'm much more worried about sheepish people in this county using it as an excuse for more violence and eventually a civil race war which will lead to marshal law
1 KreepurZ 2017-08-18
The media is pushing for protests to become violent. The news folks need the violence to stay relevant and keep control of the narrative.
I believe the real danger comes from, " the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
The press has already found ways to destroy our freedom of speech while confusing people on what the freedom of the press really means.

Yup, we need an MLK now
