Reddit automatically directing me to trending liberal posts when opening app

So this has been happening maybe two or three times a day. At first I thought it was something I just left open because I read about politics, regardless of how full of shit it is. I started paying attention the last few days and noticed I'd never even seen some of the news / anti-trump posts at all I was directed to. A few minutes ago I was directed to that new Trump arts council post on top of r/all. This seems pretty intentional and I'm wondering if I'm the only one they're trying to influence. Anyone else had this happen?

this is not new.

in a broader sense if you find it on the internet and you didn't seek it out, there is a good chance someone paid for it to be there.

I should have been on subscriptions since I just opened the app and the post was opened by default. This has happened with posts 10-15 spots down that align with reddits agenda.
