Loyola was not a Jew, Francis Borgia who funded the early colleges of the Jesuits and the printing of the Spiritual Exercises was not Jew, and the pope who commissioned the Order, Paul III was not a Jew. Further, the certain conversos in the early society of Jesus were not crypto-Jews, they were Catholics who swore allegiance to the Pope. Absolute nonsense. The Jesuits banned the Jews for 350 years from entering into the Society of Jesus. The popes kept the Jews in Ghettos in Rome from the 1500s until 1870. The Jesuits themselves wrote scathingly antisemitic articles about Jews in their magazine La Civilita Cattolica until the mid-twentieth century.

The first webpage only has one seemingly legitimate source, the summary of "From Windfall to Fall," from the book Friends on the Way. That book does not in fact support any notion that Loyola was a converso. I have reviewed the entirety of the chapter From Windfall to Fall showing there is nothing within it which supports that notion. Actually, the book lists all of the Jesuits who are suspected of having been conversos, and Loyola is not included in that list.
