Happens when big things are going on. Everyone wants to contribute so it comes down to a lot of MSM repetition of what we'd already known but has been recently considered "fact" by the masses and filler tweets and social media buzz about these "new" findings.

They’re not even conspiracy related. They’re literally flooding the sub with reposts from /r/all and /r/t_d and drowning out actual information. To the point I’m on the brink of unfollowing and going back to other forums

My submission on the Senate hearings yesterday was completely overtaken by memes and other nonsense. There's a wave of misinformation here and it's so ironic.

So many screenshots and image posts

You'd think Rule 8 would take care of most of the posts but the mods seem to be very selective on what does/doesn't get deleted.

Depends on the mod, I think 🤔

Victim of its own success. This sub was only place on reddit asking the right questions on Vegas shooter incident. Now, even the LA Times and other MSM publications are questioning the investigation.
This brings non conspiracy people or causal observers coming back. Now many of them are bringing their political view with them and they are starting to post.

this place is like that glass window on the floor of a boat that shows visitors tropical fish in the ocean, except these tourists want to see the ogres of 4chan

Its the most heavily controlled sub to make sure no one discusses politics. Thought is a threat to the establishment. Its not a question of left or right.

I've been wondering the same thing, it's annoying.

It's because our news organizations have become so wonky that people are reaching to souces on Twitter for the most recent leak into what's happening in our country.
This is the problem with the "insider leak" culture.

I share the sentiment, why can't we just have a separate political conspiracy sub. Its getting to the point where the politics theater is just everywhere, sports, music, games, etc. Its like a tumor spreading.

Maybe.. Its just that all news today is a conspiracy. So its on r/conspiracy. conspiracies.. It just shows how much people really know. Lucky people learn that with proper sourced information, the more accurately informed you will be. :) alien lizard people is a cool conspiracy .

Well as it turns out, most conspiracies with a decent amount of evidence are politically related

Because the world is changing and in a volatile period. And sitting inside talking about stonehenge and aliens is purely self serving and does nothing for anyonebor for the world in a better way.

Probably because the leader of the free world communicates by tweet ?
1 zetswei 2017-11-03
Oh makes sense thanks now I remember that this is /r/news 👍
1 vivek31 2017-11-03
Lol the free world, right.
1 bigbearandy 2017-11-03
Because misinformation is now a cottage industry.
