/r/Conspiracy is /r/politics 2.0. Move to /r/conspiracyundone or conspiracy2 to be better informed.

/r/conspiracyII allied with /r/TopMindsOfReddit so no. I do agree that this sub is a bit too political though.

I agree there which is why I supported /r/conspiracyundone first. In fact I had a very small part in /u/polkadotgirl forming that sub.

Agreed go to this sub he bans shills !

No tmor and no shills!!! : )

You did and I appreciate this. Still interested in modding?

Conspiracy2 is a tmor clone, and conspiracyundone is run by a bunch of Christian nutjobs who censor and ban anybody who criticizes Jebus. This sub has certainly been on a downhill slide since they got rid of Flytape, but those subs are garbage.

That is not true at all. Our sub is running really well. People can come and check it out for themselves!

Clearly this person wants to dissuade people from joining but I urge you to check it out.

Funny, but one of my alts got banned for criticizing Jebus and his followers. I believe the justification was that it wasn't "collegial discussion". Well, to me that indicates that either the mods don't understand what "collegial" means, or that they're using that as a blanket excuse to ban ideas they dislike. I'm sure it's a great place for religious nutbars to congregate and bounce talking points around, but for those of us who think religion is insanity it's a censored echo chamber.

1700 people have been able to follow the rules of collegial discussion.

Likely you attacked or mocked or something.

Again people can read my rules and go to the sub to see if they like it. If they do not, they do not have to subscribe.

Further anybody can appeal a ban. /u/selfmindcontrol can you look up why we banned this user?

I said that I believe that religion is a form of mental illness. I stand by that statement.

That is fine but perhaps it did not come off as collegial when you wrote it.

The problem is that you don't understand what collegial means. You seem to think it means "be nice to people" when what it actually means is "as between colleagues, especially in a professional or academic setting". I have a lot of experience with collegial discussion in the real world, and believe you me, politeness and kindness have very little to do with collegial discussion.

That said, I was not rude; I do think that all religious people are mentally ill, and refusing to back down from that opinion is what got me banned.

Collegial does not necessarily be nice but it certainly means do not attack.

Calling a person mentally ill or a grouo of people mentally ill is an attack.

No, it doesn't.

Not if it's the truth. Therein lies the problem: you view reality as an attack on you because you've been infected with a memetic virus that causes psychosis. Jesus doesn't exist, and likely never did. There is no evidence whatsoever for any God.

Just because she was mean does not mean she was right. Half of my professors are assholes

Half of my professors are assholes.

Exactly. Collegial, yet not kind.

Honestly I'm surprised you have some post secondary education. I would expect a little more intellectual rigor from an educated person. But whatever, I'll stay away from your safe space, and you continue living in your little bubble of people who won't criticize your beliefs.

You do not sound educated at all.

Well, you are of course entitled to your opinion, even though it's wrong.

K

I did a search and we did not ban this specific username. Based on the user's comments, it is likely u/obsessile, who I banned first for the following comment:

https://np.reddit.com/r/conspiracyundone/comments/6woxl0/the_perpetration_of_godlessness/dma3jrx/

Then we unbanned him and then you banned him for something else.

Then in the modmail he said this to you:

"So anyways, go f*** yourself, you ignoramus, and enjoy your echo chamber of idiocy."

Lol!!

Not a tmor clone. They exchanged mods with tmor which caused the controversy which sprouted /r/conspiracyundone. As far as I am aware, consiracyundone does indeed have a christian moderator but is open to opinions from all beliefs. What evidence do you have of them banning anti-"jebus" posts?

Flytape was the last mod who was vehemently anti shill.

Splitters!

I️ think we need a politics2 or conspiracypolitics sub.

Obviously politics has been overrun with establishment shills. It’s impossible to post there without “you’re doing that too much” messages and political conspiracies seem to have taken over the conspiracy sub.

I️ like lots of non-political conspiracies but they get buried on this sub now.

Half of my professors are assholes.
