Man of the Year: Donald Trump
0 2017-12-08 by Stranger_From_101
Imagine if Trump didn't run for office. Imagine if Hillary Clinton had won the Presidency, and was in office this very minute. Do you really think the #metoo movement would be where it is today? I don't think so. Whatever you think about President P*ssy-grabber Donald Trump, and I know there is a lot of bad stuff about him to think about, he is the reason all of this is happening. That huge negative tidal wave of hate and accusations that were launched on him backfired, and came back to bite everyone who was against him and even people of his own party. I guess it took a man like that to show the world the hypocrisy of many. I'm not saying he's a Saint or anything like that, but he is the start of the truth movement. He promised to change things, and I believe he has. I do think he's still under control by the powers that be, but overall a welcome change to politics overall.

it was win/win.. not only do we not have to suffer four years of the cackling clinton, we also get to have the hypocrites self destructing!

Very true. I did not want Hillary in office. She's done enough.
What Happened? You lost. That's what happened.

You guys are both jokes on this sub...

So many Anti Trumpers spewing hatred/vitriol without seeing their hypocrisy. I agree, I'm not Trump's biggest fan, but if anyone even for a moment tries to look at the situation neutrally, there'd be a lot less back and forth shouting matches and more cooperation. What happened to, "when they go low, we go high..." Globalist and mass surveillance agenda was clear with Bush and Obama, I can't say the same for Trump, yet...

I remember during the campaign, I saw about 1 negative Trump ad every hour on the hour on either MSNBC or CNN's Facebook. I forgot where it was, but it was just a constant bombardment of, "Trump says this. Trump said that. Trump hates minorities. Trump grabbed p*ssy." Honestly, it was so much that it made me want to vote for him even more, sadly. Anytime the press is against you like that, it's either one of two reasons. You're Hitler, or you are actually trying to change something.
I voted for Trump to prevent the TPP, and it died immediately. If he puts up a border wall, I'll be very impressed. It's not so much the immigrants I'm worried about as much as the drug cartels and their products that they bring through. I don't do drugs at all, but I know that people usually don't have a hard time finding them. I'm shocked that people are so against the wall. Even as a Hispanic myself, I see the need for this country to have one.

What's crazy to me is that Trump's actually going through with his campaign promises and people are declaring end of times... Whether his policies are beneficial or not for Americans is a different issue. Even though I'm against big government, I voted Bernie in the primaries because his voting record fell in line with what he was trying to preach. I also voted for the Libertarian party for the presidency so that the party can get a 5% popular vote count to get an automatic ticket to the ballots without having to pay for it, essentially saving them millions in campaign finance. I don't think having tons of parties is the solution either, it's terrible in European countries.
I felt the same during the elections. How does it feel to be Hitler? because obviously you're Hitler since you voted for him, and God help you if you're white and voted Trump... /s I still remember when he was being attacked with every epithet they could think of, it really numbed me to what should be serious words like Hitler, racist, bigot, homophobe, sexist, etc.
I'm not sure if a wall is really what we need, since illegal border crossing is at a 17 year low and we haven't even built anything, so we can agree to disagree (maybe a fence with better patrol). With the tech that we have now you could be patrolling the entire border with minimal entry. But still, it was a campaign promise/agenda.
I'm not sure where I stand with Trump yet mainly because of ridiculous headlines and bias reporting. One thing I do know is what you said in the OP, his election opened the flood gates of hypocrisy, self reflection, and sparked people's interest in politics. Unfortunately, it's also a time of misinformation, so I hope people would reserve their emotions and opt for deeper reading into all matters.

Trump becoming president is the best thing that could have happened. The whole country is now paying attention to and realizing that the government is corrupt. Even though both "sides" believe the corruption is coming from different places, it doesn't matter. The whole government is under a microscope like never before in history IMO.
1 reputable_opinion 2017-12-08
Exactly. Now you can play the, so what has really changed card. Hasn't it been a fascist plutocracy for decades?
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
Yeah we all found out how corrupt the guy in in charge is. So far, 4 of his campaign cronies have gone down on federal charges. We would have never known how corrupt they all are if he didn't become president.
1 RedPillFiend 2017-12-08
Agreed. If Hillary won, you wouldn't be posting all over a conspiracy sub about government corruption. You'd get to gleefully stick your head back in the sand for the next 4 years.
1 FoxxTrot77 2017-12-08
Lol. Very nice
1 gnome_saiyan 2017-12-08
Not to mention most of his cabinet are Goldman Sachs billionaires and banker cronies...

Gotta summon the mods because you can't handle the truth? Poor baby go have a cry somewhere.
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
Clearly you're upset. Don't take it out on the people here who are just stating facts.
1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
You aren't stating facts though. You are shilling and posting crap that the echochamber of reddit is stating in an attempt to make it "fact" when it will never be.
So please, suck it.
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
Ahh but it is a simple fact. Trump has 5 current or former Goldman Sachs employees in high positions in his cabinet. He's blowing corporate cock harder than we'd ever imagined. I know it sucks to hear.
1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
Who cares? Obama had a bunch of useless idiots in his cabinet and faked his birth certificate.

1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
Manafort for something 10 years ago not even connected to Trump.
Flynn and someone else for lying to the FBI.
Who was the other one? Probably someone who did something YEARS ago and not even connected to Trump.
Go back to /r/politics you shill.
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
Rick Gates. So there out of four got federal charges for lying to the FBI about colluding with Russia. Sorry the truth hurts bud. If you need a safe space where you don't hear this stuff, you know which sub yo head over to.
1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
Colluding with Russia? You mean Flynn doing his job? Sure he lied but he was doing his job.
Gates was associated with Manafort, likely YEARS AGO BEFORE TRUMP
Keep trying with your nothingburger... maybe you libtards will keep losing elections and take a look in the mirror and realize "It's not them it's us."
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
I know it hurts bud. I feel bad for you guys. All of Trumps henchmen are going down on federal charges. His son had to claim attorney privelige to dodge questions to Congress. Even though neither of them are lawyers. Then Trump admits to obstruction of justice on Twitter. Has to blame it on his lawyer. Hilarious. It's been a super rough couple months for you guys. Hang in there champ.
1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
yawn
Keep at it bud, your lies and bullshit are going nowhere. But hey maybe you can have a cry in at a college, or riot with antifa and punch a random person and call them a "nazi".
Useless liberal.
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
It's funny cause everything I said is true. You have no response to any of it so you just have to say "hurr durr yer a libtard."
1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
Actually it isn't true but keep believe it... maybe just maybe...it won't come true.
I'm done with you kiddo maybe grow up, get in the real world instead of the brainwashing facilities known as college and you'll see how STUPID you really are.
1 D0NT_TAZE_ME_BRO 2017-12-08
Sounds good bud.

And the balance sheet on the other side is more than equal. Anthony Weiner IN PRISON, Podesta under a huge cloud, Wasserman Schulz in disgrace, Bill Clinton tarnished as a rapist, Hilary herself under suspicion regarding her server- a story that won't go away....
1 atavisticbeast 2017-12-08
only by half the country.
the rest is just sitting back watching Fox News and lsitening to Hannity, and thinking "goddamn, why are the democrats so evil and trump is the best POTUS in history!"
1 RedPillFiend 2017-12-08
Like I said, each side believes the corruption is coming from different places. Are you saying only one side is corrupt then?
1 atavisticbeast 2017-12-08
no, i'm saying the problem with this country is that 95% of people believe only one side is corrupt, and that hasn't changed with trump
1 xxmissmiserxx 2017-12-08
Thats not what trump supporters do in the slightest but ok
1 bubowskee 2017-12-08
Good point, they go listen to RT, Alex Jones, read 4chan for their news, and listen to white nationalist to get both sides of the story. Remember, they suffer "economic anxiety", otherwise known as being uncomfortable with anyone who isn't white asking for respect
1 xxmissmiserxx 2017-12-08
Yeah ok hun. Keep talking at me Mr shill

1 gnome_saiyan 2017-12-08
It's terrible. The social engineers chose him as a catalyst for the social unrest that they are creating. They're going to use him to usher in the collapse. Doi!

Trump had nothing to do with women coming out against Harvey Weinstein. They are the ones that sparked the movement. What is it you think he did?
1 FoxxTrot77 2017-12-08
The Democrats didn’t have a message to beat Trump I’m upcoming elections and in Alabama next week. Well, now they got their message...
1 Stranger_From_101 2017-12-08
I'm pretty sure Rose McGowan had been speaking out for a long time. Corey Feldman as well. Courtney Love joked about not going to Weinstein's hotel room, and Seth McFarland did as well. No one gave a crap about them until recently. Why? The political and social climate changed with Trump. He was this big evil that the media and DNC wanted to take down. It ended up making a lot of people wake up, and want to tell their stories. He was the spark of change, above all else. Keep in mind, Ronan Farrow's story was buried by NBC for years, because according to them there wasn't enough evidence. All that changed in this new era. The Trump era, for better or worse.
1 gnome_saiyan 2017-12-08
This is stupid OP....
We'd have the EXACT. SAME. SHIT. Do you not get how this works yet? They select their puppets in advance.
Not only is Trump not a saint, but he's quite literally a NWO puppet just like Obama, Bush, Clinton, ect before him.
This goofy ambiguous "well at least he's not hillary and he's not a saint but he might be a good guy" is pathetic. Quit extending this benefit of the doubt to elite billionaire puppet politicians like Trump, and man up and face what we're dealing with together.
1 xxmissmiserxx 2017-12-08
If youre into the stuff the KEK meme has grown into, you'll know that the god of chaos is also known as the bringer of light. Nothing great is ade without destruction of what was there before. Thats why the US has so far failed in being a free country, the powers that be were never destroyed. Trump is ushering in an age of chaos and destruction of the powers that be. If he were just a plant, he would have thrown the race to have Hillary win. The media would be on his side wnating us to trust him.
1 Tridiego 2017-12-08
Did you really just call him "president pussy grabber"? Are you such a blind shill you just repeat whatever the hell shills are calling OUR PRESIDENT these days?
Have some respect you democrat turd.
1 Stranger_From_101 2017-12-08
Democrat? lol I haven't been one of those in a while. I used that sensational adjective for effect, and it obviously worked. Thanks for the reply though.

Fuck the president. Do something.

The destruction of our American democracy is near. It is now being dismantled right before our eyes. The majority of Americans have never really embraced American democracy; they never understood it. They couldn't care less if our system changed to something worse.
