Disney is slowing buying everything currently licensed to Universal Studios

I’m not sure I actually believe this, but the idea amused me.
- Disney owns Marvel, which has an entire themed land at Islands of Adventure in Orlando.
- Disney owns Fox, which owns the Simpsons, which has themed areas at both Universal Studios parks in Orlando and Los Angelas.
What’s next? Nintendo? DreamWorks?

Probably because they know Mickey Mouse's copyright expires in 2023 and they may not be able to extend copyright law this time around, so they are buying up other intellectual properties to keep the Mouse gravy train rolling.
