I don't how the various political money mills on the left and right have managed to convince people that Hillary has even a .1% chance of running in 2020.
They should run Bernie again but would he do it after getting the nomination stolen from you? How old will he be? I wouldn't mind younger blood in office.
How old will he be? I wouldn't mind younger blood in office.
Pretty old. He's still healthy, but even so, as long as his VP is good, I'd be willing to pick him. I hope he chooses a good one if they let him get that far.
At least 10-15 years younger. I would actually love to see a Sanders/Gabbard 2020 ticket. I would vote the fuck out of that.
Plus with Tulsi you can get the female vote, veteran vote and minority vote. With Bernie you would get half the white people in the country and depending on what tune he sang probably a good portion of the latino and black communities also. I don't remember how much of the minority vote Bernie had compared to Hildawg.
It would be an interesting election but I feel like it would take on less of a circus act this time around. But with anything surrounding Trump you never know.
Cory Booker is lucky to be a Senator. I get that he has ambition, or whatever, but he should feel REALLY HAPPY that he got where he is, and tempt fate, in my opinion.
I think this is definitely the case, but he won’t win. But he will spread the word heavily about basic income, which I think is what this world needs. But HE is the last thing we need.
George Clooney...Israel's next rock star. I'm seeing Nikki Haley as his running mate..after her magnificent and well publicized falling out with Trump.
Im guessing Oprah, Zuckerberg, Mark Cuban, Maybe Bill Gates. Then you will also have all the political hacks that everybody is fucking sick and tired of like Biden, Clinton, Warren, any fucking woman the dems can cram down our throats.
Dems voting for Obama a black man was taken as a big "Fuck You" by a lot of conservatives. In retaliation conservatives elected Trump to fling the insult and shit back across the aisle. I only expect our politics to devolve further from here as the left tries to insult conservatives again with the most outrageous candidate they can support. Oprah would cause OUTRAGE being a black woman, or another candidate that would infuriate conservatives would be Michelle Obama and it would fit with the whole "Dynasty family" shit that seems to plague the presidency.
Either way its going to be another shit show and I'll be voting 3rd party again because why keep playing the stupid game.
That's a shitty argument when tons of people supported Bernie and yet he got stonewalled in the primaries. I don't think voting is as rigged as some people here do but it's certainly heavily manipulated. The issue is not simply ass lack of interest or sense of self defeatism.
I've a bone to pick with Bernie. His unflinching loyalty to Israel. I was a supporter despite this, yet now it is impossible to ignore. The system is broken. Voting gives them, the corrupt, consent to rule you.
Agreed, he was far from the perfect candidate. Still, it was disturbing to see how easily an entire political party can be literally bought by an individual. It's one of those things I had assumed for a long time but never thought I'd see so blatantly.
You just know Kanye West will run. I mean we live ina fucked up world were we are infouenced by Social media. As Kim K is the Queen of social media, it makes sense for the liberal audience too. I mean Kim K as the first lady really fits in this sad digital era. Kanye probably be like Trump but the mass wont critisize him like Trump cuz they think hes a 'realist'(he aint anymore) and also his wife is Kim K. I would love to see this happen jsut to see how Kanye will deal with all this world problem shit.
I think the Democrats will try to rig it for someone like Biden. I'm hoping the grassroots can overcome the margin of cheating and get us someone like Tulsa Gabbard. I wouldn't be surprised if a wildcard third party candidate could be the "real" competition. Bernie Sanders might be nice too, but I feel like the folks in the smoke filled back room will tell him not to run and he'll do as he's told.
I think you'll see Tulsi gabbard throwing her name into the primary. Elizabeth Warren sounds like it. Expect a woman with progressive roots. The exact thing to capitalize on Trump's worst demographic, women - especially educated women. Malley may run again he did really well in debates even if it didn't shift support to him.
How old will he be? I wouldn't mind younger blood in office.

Move on, people...

Also, where's the submission statement for this? I can't imagine what it would even be...but you've got 3 minutes to come up with something.

lol, who do you think you are? Also, self.post do not require a mission statement...

Uh, a user on this subreddit?
Oh, right, I was wrong about this! It's still a violation under Rule 12, but you're 100% right, not Rule 13.

I'm not going to delete it.
I edited it to make it actually educational, and "fall on my sword" as wrong.

Ron Paul should run as the Libertarian candidate and just say fuck you Republican Party!
1 DarthStem 2017-12-28
I would rather see Rand but I like Ron's truth bombs.

I like Rand... but he's just not his father.

Agreed. He knows people, obviously. I've just seen his name being mentioned as 'rising star' so I thought I'd mention him.

1 Weirdbhamcall 2017-12-28
I really think he could win. People will assume he's qualified to run the country because he created the world's most popular website.
1 asailorssway 2017-12-28
The guy kicked indigenous ppl off an island, to give himself space... Base income, my ass. Oh, and his familial ties are treasonous. Fuck that noise.

George Clooney is a joke. Would never run.. I don’t see any celebrity giving up their day job to deal with the worlds’ mess.

1 YellowTrumpet 2017-12-28
I agree.
1 Loffler 2017-12-28
This is how we end up with candidates like Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the general election.
1 TheWizardofBaghdad 2017-12-28
If the system is fucked then you can't change anything by using that system. That's illogical. The solution must come from outside of that system.
It isn't possible for a good candidate who would protect the public and not the government to get into office
1 Klaudiapotter 2017-12-28
If they do manage to get in, they end up being assassinated like JFK. He tried to do things for the people and look what happened.
