Not a conspiracy exactly, but SERIOUSLY guys what fricking gives!!?. This is not fb, an it should not try to be. It's bad enough that a lot of members of Reddit are nothing but content and karma farmers, now with this profile thing it is just going to get worse. People will be judged by their profile instead of the contents of the post/comment. This just going to lead to Reddit being a fb clone. Please tell me that I am not alone in feeling like this.

I see people talk about this, but is it b/c I mostly use an app that I don't see what you're talking about? All I see is what I've always seen- I can click to see what dumb shit I've said, and what asshole shit was replied back to me. Nothing has changed for me that I'm aware of.

One big change is that people can now post to their profile's rather than a subreddit, I don't really know the other big differences though

look, good places are only good for a while, everything has an expiration date, and now its steemit.com time, instead of reddit, also dsound and dtube instead of youtube, there are many new places if reddit goes to shit

Best solution I've found so far is to go to the ... tab of your new profile and select Legacy. Then it will appear like your previous standard profile.

You can add /overview to the end of the URL when viewing a profile to revert to the older UI.

The legacy thing the one user said works. It puts it back to the old way while you are one the page but you have to hit legacy every time :(
