New way Google monitors us?

I was just typing in a Google Docs document in my Chrome browser. I changed the capitalization of the word "Franchise" to "franchise" for a simple edit. I changed to a new tab and started typing in the Google address bar, the letter "f" for facebook, but the auto-populated word was "franchise" as if I were going to search on the word I was just editing inside of Google Docs. I never searched for the word "franchise" in google that I can recall, so it shouldn't have been a suggested term based off my search history.
I'm not overly shocked by this, but it is something new I saw and thought I should share it with you.

Yep, and I'm sure they track what you type into the search bar, but don't actually search for too

Facebook tracks what you type but don’t submit, so Google doing the same wouldn’t shock me.

They also track what you hover over.

You can easily track any and all events on any site by creating custom tags, especially when writing custom scripture into those tags.

say "The Internet of Things" 50 times, slowly
as you do that, look at every device you own that has internet connectivity
imagine all of the inputs each device is capable of - touchscreen, camera, microphone, etc.
imagine a company that mediates or hosts most (if not all) of these devices
imagine that company's capability

Exactly, you can safely assume that every device that is connected directly or indirectly to the internet is recording and storing every bit of information about you and populating your unseen internet profile. Everything you believe in, hate, love, like, listen to, say, type, they know what your porn preferences are as well as your masturbation habits. They know where you go, what you eat, what you watch, etc. It could be all for AdSense right now. Or it could be a complete system of control. Think about it, what could you make someone do if you knew every detail about them. Imagine now, that that person is a politician or a judge.

It was Google

They save everything you type

Everything you say and pretty much everything that they can deduce you are doing as well

They also will auto fill with things you have spoken, not typed. I said, I wonder if its ok for dogs to eat apples as i was eating an apple with my begging dog at my feet. Grabbed my phone, opened google, typed one letter, it auto filled with is it ok for dogs to eat apples.
Its all very creepy and invasive as hell.

This isn't new. They read your email and any documents you put in Drive. They always have.

I would just assume every Google-owned product you use (Drive, Gmail, Youtube, etc.) while signed in (and potentially even when signed out) is datamined and used to create a profile about you and your connections.
If you're looking for other surveillance mechanisms built into our technology, you should look up the Intel Management Engine, which is essentially a backdoor on a hardware level built into most computers.

I believe it. I was searching for apartments in Seattle online. I have not made a final decision if I will move or not. Later in my yahoo email, what popped up? Comcast offering deals in Seattle and how to transfer service there. I have not even contacted Comcast about this...yet!
