I propose leaving David Hogg alone.
0 2018-02-21 by pilgrimboy
This is why.
Let's say that the shooting is real, which I believe. Let's say that he is a kid with political views that you may disagree with suffering through the situation in the way he is. And let's say that a bunch of people are hurting. If this is the case, trolling David Hogg is horrible.
We can play around with this being a conspiracy in years to come, but right now it is very uncomfortable. I know that I can't force this on anyone, but I hope that you would consider it. If it is real, the conpsiracy talk is just hurtful. The trolling of a kid struggling to make sense of it and to find purpose in it is a great evil. It could actually lead to someone like David Hogg committing suicide, and then people like us in this community will be blamed. Going through harassment on top of an experience that he doesn't know how quite to deal with is not something anyone deserves.
So I pray for those people. I pray for healing. And we can all work for the political changes we want to see without pulling these victims into the mess.
And if it is a false flag, I know that this plays right into that, but the price is too high if we are making a mistake.

Had same thought.

Come on internet, where the fuck did your autism go? It doesn't matter if it's real or not. We have the seed of doubt in our mind and it must be either expunged or nurtured. What happened to the search for truth?
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
Search for truth. Don't hurt people. If you hurt people, it makes you just as bad as people deceiving and hurting people.

how?

By saying things on the internet :)

Things.

I'm triggered.

This is not the place to come and plead “words hurt”. There’s things about the kid that make many go hmmmmmm. Can’t help kids were massacred. That’s why some of us question this and the motives going forward from the day it transpired.
1 mastigia 2018-02-21
Not arguing with that man. Comment was a sardonic joke.

That would be counter productive, so... no. He's putting himself out in the public, so, he is fair considering what he is doing/saying...
1 the_gradient_police 2018-02-21
This is my thinking as well. They'll bask in the anti-gun MSM limelight for two weeks straight. But if you fall outside the ropes you'll get zinged by the thought police, and will need to be muted or deleted. hehe
1 HeavyWinter 2018-02-21
It’s more constant harassment and death threats as opposed to a comment “falling outside the ropes”

"Everyone, ignore the kid from both coasts related to the federal agent who forgot his lines during an interview". To me, that is a thing you say in r/news or even Facebook etc. Not here. We discuss conspiracy. His story has holes worth analyzing.
1 JoshRomneysMinions 2018-02-21
Kid takes vacation to California. Stop the presses
1 Dougalishere 2018-02-21
Kid loses train of thought in an interview. Deep state plant, there literally can be 0 other reasons. 0
1 katarine- 2018-02-21
Is there a link to the interview?
1 JoshRomneysMinions 2018-02-21
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvZD7UkJd24 here it is. Seems weird that the deep state would send someone to argue about boogey boards and lifeguards and then send him to be a crisis actor for a mass shooting.
1 troy_caster 2018-02-21
Agreed. OP should wait until this story hits mainstream and then he can post this there.
1 PeacefulChaos379 2018-02-21
Is it odd that someone has prepared for an interview? What? Are all interviews supposed to be complete improv with no preparation whatsoever? In what world?
Is it odd that someone stumbles over their words? Forgets what it is they want to say?
1 wishiwascooltoo 2018-02-21
I don't follow conspiracies that closely, could you link me some info you're talking about? I saw the clip of him in California with the life guard but what's this about forgetting lines? What holes?
1 DonnaGail 2018-02-21
Play around with this being a conspiracy in years to come? Oh, so they can destroy all the online evidence? No. He is fair game.
1 GoddamnFreemasons 2018-02-21
He already graduated from high school https://imgur.com/KA6DvNb They have lost the plot.
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
If that is legit, I take all of what I said back.
1 dr_pepper_35 2018-02-21
You don't need proof that you graduated from a school to join that site. And if you go to that schools page, it tells you that 2 David Hoggs have recently joined.
1 geekofband007 2018-02-21
its fake
Below is a link to article from screenshot.
1 therealsquirrel95 2018-02-21
how does that make it fake? i think the theory here is that he graduated from redondo high or whatever and then was planted in FL at that school sometime after graduation in 2015. not saying i believe this theory but this article doesn't disprove it
1 HeavyWinter 2018-02-21
Do you have literally anything to prove your assertation?
1 stellarstar17 2018-02-21
Not sure if continuation schools offer yearbooks... http://rshs-rbusd-ca.schoolloop.com/cms/block_view?d=x&piid=1508753199834&block_id=1366102900005

do you literally know how to read?
1 JoshRomneysMinions 2018-02-21
Why would a wannabe actor want to work at CNN? Seems counterprodructive. It's not like Tom Hardy wanted to be an actor but figured he needed to fake mass shootings first.
1 datsallvolks 2018-02-21
I'm sympathetic to your point and feel the same discomfort. However, when you make yourself a spokesperson you are open to criticism and investigation, no matter your age or demographic. The vid of him screwing up his lines is damning in my eyes.
1 redditeditard 2018-02-21
Taking a high school kid's dream of being a journalist and manipulating it for views is shady journalism.
The MSM shouldn't be making the shooters famous in the first place. Making the witnesses is even more sinister.
Stop adding to this cycle, folks. Your obsession with this event doesn't change anything. They didn't take your guns after Las Vagas. Obama never got your guns. There's shit going on in Congress right now, Syria is escalating and you're all obsessing over the interviews of a high school senior.
1 Odor_punchout_16 2018-02-21
Hell no, the price is too high to leave it be. 15 or not, if this kid is in on something he needs to go down with the rest of them.
1 the_gradient_police 2018-02-21
I think Dave is up to something, just a fun hunch. The guy winds up on the MSM news over some beach argument back in 17, which may have led to some sort of interchange between "officials".
He might have been some sort of homeless-ish surf dude that got tangled up with the law.
It's weird, because I remember seeing the beach video posted on public freakout where it was OC from OP, and now wondering if he's a reddit user that originally posted the video trying to get that beach guard in trouble. But instead, the fucking grey-human combos that hang out up and down the 1 got ahold of the dude and now is on the payroll.

Those are all hypotheticals, you have no proof for what you’re saying. You make this sub look like a partisan cesspool
1 redditeditard 2018-02-21
Tried to be a voice of reason and had my account called fake. I did wipe a shit ton of comments from this account, but hell, it shows who's actually new to this sub and doesn't recognize my name from dozens of posts a day for the last 4 fuckin years.
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
Your post in the other thread is what inspired my post here.
1 redditeditard 2018-02-21
It's suspicious as fuck, the new users here, coming to post about this kid. Either a brigade or there's really many people on fb, twitter, YT repeating the crisis actors line. Which is a fucking weird thing to see "in the wild", average people talking crisis actors.
1 YetisInAtlanta 2018-02-21
Very strange indeed that false flags, crisis actors, and other such things are being so casually thrown about. None of it feels right. For some reason, this shooting has brought conspiracy talk to the forefront more than ever. It’s unsettling to say the least. Idk if they want to try to discredit all dissenting talk as “conspiracy” now, but things feel off for sure
1 SpinPHD480 2018-02-21
I love all these anonymous people on reddit claiming that it’s ok to keep bashing this underage kid.
It’s a scummy thing to do.
1 CaptainApollyon 2018-02-21
Conspiracies are sposed to be comfy gais!
1 ReadyToLoveAgain 2018-02-21
Oh you do, do you? Well David Hogg doesn't second your motion. He has instead decided to jump into a political wasps nest, as the voice and the face of the current wave that the left keeps crashing into our constitutionally protected rights (NSA v the 4th, antifa v the 1st, and today we have David Hogg v the 2nd). Young Mr. Hogg doesnt share your concerns; spindly and creepy though he is, he's quite well rehearsed and media ready.
1 HeavyWinter 2018-02-21
The NSA is not “left” lol, what are you talking about?
And what about Bush’s Patriot Act? Why blame it all on the left? You’re being incredibly partisan
1 ReadyToLoveAgain 2018-02-21
Good points. I guess the NSA is more "authoritarian uni-party" than it is left or right. And I suppose I could have mentioned many other ways and methods our rights are being eroded (including the Patriot Act), I just threw out a few. And as a very liberal right winger, yes; I can be quite partisan.
1 venCiere 2018-02-21
Making this about an “attack” on a kid is a clever psyop. Questioning repeat offenders of false flags is common sense.
2 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
Yeah. I totally get that. And worry that I'm enabling. However, my post went nowhere, so I guess I'm not. But I feel really bad about all of this if it is a legit shooting.
1 venCiere 2018-02-21
The reactions from various msm is are a cover up over reaction response.
1 Some-Random-Chick 2018-02-21
He has every right to push his political views as we have every right to criticize it and vice versa. If he doesn’t like the spotlight he should just shut up. Otherwise people who disagree with his views are gonna voice their own opinions. Doesn’t matter if he’s 5, 15 or 50.
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
But why do we have to attack each other and not just deal with the issues?
1 Some-Random-Chick 2018-02-21
What you call attacking each other I call dealing with the issue. How do you solve a problem without debating both sides of it.
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
Debating issues, not people.
1 Some-Random-Chick 2018-02-21
Debating people’s ideas*
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you also trying to attack me personally rather than just deal with the ideas?
1 Some-Random-Chick 2018-02-21
If I think your idea is stupid, how is that an attack on you the person?
If you think I’m attacking you then cheers, I don’t have patience for people who play the victim card.
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
What is my idea that you think is stupid?
1 Some-Random-Chick 2018-02-21
Not your idea but the idea of the kid you’re defending. Gun control does not work. If you could make a law that can prevent unnecessary deaths, wouldn’t making murder illegal cover all bases? People still do it, wether with a knife, a car or a gun. What this kid is talking about is making guns (or cars or knifes) illegal. Now, not only is the next shooter gonna be a criminal for murder, you get to add a second charge, possession of a gun. Murder being illegal didn’t stop this shooter but you expect me to believe illegal possession might next time round? You know what WILL stop him next time? A good guy with a gun. But if you take away guns from good guys, then all you’re left with is bad guys having guns.

What a crock of neo liberal horse shit
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
I'm totally not a neoliberal. I'm adamantly opposed to them.
1 _davidether 2018-02-21
You may want to think about rewriting your anti bullying rant then.
1 pilgrimboy 2018-02-21
I'm a progressive. We're against bullying too.
1 CrewCutKid 2018-02-21
If you are going to stick your neck out there in the political battlefield ( victim or no) then you are fair game to criticism. It's one thing to do a couple interviews after the tragedy but this kid is actively spewing talking points on any platform he can get on. Very fishy, like most school shootings.
1 jennychan_fla 2018-02-21
Yeah, just leave him alone. LOLZ
