Apparently Milwaukee has nuclear seagulls flying in our sky?
191 2018-02-28 by Qu33nMe
So this has been making the news here in Milwaukee. We’re actually seriously being told this is a flock of seagulls?! If someone can rationally explain this to me I would love to hear the explanation. Any theories other than glowing seagulls?

Wow! Very interesting! Thanks for sharing this, I’m forced to agree with you on those NOT being seagulls...

This is interesting.
Also, there's a video at the bottom that looks taped from another angle..were there are really seagulls...but that dosen't explain the strange lighting in the first video.
1 Nothingaddsup 2018-02-28
We need to know the shutter speed etc of the first camera. The things are moving in a pattern that could be a group of bird, but there isn't enough detail in it.

Wow this is actually incredible. I can't think of any plausible thing this might be. Or if it could be faked?
1 Workmask 2018-02-28
One comment on the /r/videos thread suggested a reflection of tetra fish. Considering that it really does look like fish.
I would also assume that if those things were actually there and not just a weird reflection on their webcam that tons of amateur footage would be appearing.
1 kanaami 2018-02-28
Here’s your first example of amateur footage showing a DVR recording of a different live news camera angle with the same lights.

1 Qu33nMe 2018-02-28
So the link I posted yesterday has changed today? They’ve now added two other videos taken on February 21. Also this bit of news of some in Milwaukee seeing a meteor last night...wtf is going on in Wisconsin!

I wish I could hear some of the whispers of the news casters. There’s a few inaudible voices I can hear, but can’t make them out. I also wish I could find more video, but this is all I’ve found.
1 sprenault 2018-02-28
It's the new Chinese New Years drone kites. I just saw a video of the damn things somewhere on the site and now I can't find it.
1 A530 2018-02-28
Thanks for posting this. IMO, this is one of the most plausible explanations I've seen yet. The seagull explanation is utter BS and I was buying into the Tetra fishtank explanation until I saw that it was seen in multiple cameras.
1 gtrogers 2018-02-28
Right there with you. As much as I want to believe (Mulder), I still approach these videos with a skeptical mind. I also bought the tetra fishtank reflection. But I don't have an explanation for the other angles. Drone kites do seem plausible at the moment, but I'm not fully convinced yet. Hopefully more footage comes out!
1 khaosconn 2018-02-28
i would think in the original news video, those lights are way to high for drones not to mention how many there are..
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
Birds with LED tags.
1 Adeleanor13 2018-02-28
Whoever said these were seagulls must have never seen seagulls before.
1 Qu33nMe 2018-02-28
There a video at the bottom of the link that shows the “flock” they found in the city. The birds are clearly at a different height and not flying to the degree the video shows. It just sounds like some random theory they decided to go with to try and perhaps reduce a panic. We have seagulls all around the city and nothing like this was ever captured before. Just crazy weird.
1 WarSanchez 2018-02-28
The seagulls are flying REALLY low almost 20 feet above the courthouse.
Those "seagulls" in the original are like 100-150 feet minimum away from any building with a light source to make them glow like that. Real fucking odd. I was downtown yesterday for the Buck vs Wizards game and passed by the courthouse, didn't hear or see any seagulls they would have been down low eating all the shit everyone dropped.

That's insane. I usually can explain stuff away with different possibilities. But, this - ah, no.
Maybe a flock of seagulls. But, I'm not too sure about that. What it was/is? I have no clue.
1 winochamp 2018-02-28
Seagulls simply do not fly at the height these things are shown to be at.

Check out the thread on reddit. Full of shills and zealot skeptics. Such a sad thread. Highest rated comment isn't even a top comment but a reply to one turning it all into a joke so the plebs laugh it up and assume its seagulls because haha you idiots aliens?

1 HodgkinsNymphona 2018-02-28
You think it was aliens?
1 imminent_disclosure 2018-02-28
What I think is that any dumbass who says it's seagulls HURDUR are you retarded? Is just as stupid as the person who says. OMFG ITS ALIENZ GUYS. rt right now!!!!!
You see once you research it you can find out that huh it's not seagulls. There is no evidence it is extraterrestrials other by than a connection of aliens potentially being in the sky. The fish bowl behind the camera makes some sort of logic but unless you can prove there was a fishtank behind the camera. Okay so whats left. Do we know if anyone saw this in person? Do we have any other supporting evidence. No?
Let us weigh the options. Oh wait there are too many.
Here is what I think. Do I want it to be aliens? Fuck yes!
Do I allow that bias to mess with my judgement values? No. Why? Because the evidence suggests we don't know!
And that is what I think. Get a fucking scientific body together and study this phenomenon.
1 skrimpstaxx 2018-02-28
Aliens would be the absolute worst outcome, and the end to humanity. Imagine the germs we aren't immune too, man that shit would wipe out our species
1 PorschephileGT3 2018-02-28
Nah we’d just give them the common cold and fuck them right up.
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
It doesn't work like that.
Unless an alien culture developed germ/bacteria warfare, which it likely couldn't, any germs they bring to our planet wouldn't have evolved to feed on us.
When trees first appeared there were no microbes around to eat the fallen leaves (which is why we have oil now and will never have t again).
As time went by, micro organisms evolved which started eating the fallen leaves, because of the massive uncontested food source.
Stuff has to evolve to eat other stuff, it doesn't just happen immediately.
If you went to another planet would you put the first thing you discovered in your mouth?
1 chainmailbill 2018-02-28
That’s patently incorrect.
Microbes existed for probably three billion years before the first trees.
1 social_libertarian 2018-02-28
did the microbes that digest lignen and cellulose exist then?
no they had to evolve.
1 cadhoit_ban 2018-02-28
I think hes talking about the "seas of dead wood" that covered the earth. Apparently trees were around for a while before anything learned to feed off of them so fallen limbs and trees would just stay there untouched until huge wildfires came tearing through. Eventually some microbes learned to digest the woof and the rest is history.
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
leaf eating microbes didn't... because they wouldn't have anything to eat.
1 TheWiredWorld 2018-02-28
Lol this is such pseudo science made up bullshit.
Mushroom have been around half a billion years longer than trees.
1 social_libertarian 2018-02-28
what does that have to do with anything?
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
Mushrooms don't eat leaves.
1 WaitTilUSeeMyDick 2018-02-28
To your first points... Just no.
To your second? If I was offered space acid from aliens I'd probably eat it.
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
"Just no". No Neil deGrasse link telling me how I'm wrong and that we need to be massively afraid of space germs, just no.
Oil didn't come from trees, just no.
How closed minded are you that you have the audacity to reply to my comment with "just no" ?
As for your second comment, I'm sure you're that stupid you would.
1 WaitTilUSeeMyDick 2018-02-28
Your comments towards the people that beat me to it were just as retarded. So I didn't bother. You think you know how science works. But it only works the way you think it does? Compared to a peer reviewed HUGE group of people who critique eachother? That is just asinine.
Also. Space acid would prolly be pretty dope.
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
What peer reviewed huge group are you referring to?
I'm not "asinine" for having a different opinion... and why do you assume I'm below this group? I've studied microbiology enough that I can speak with confidence... what are your credentials?
I doubt you've ever tried a psychedelic but good luck with the space acid, whatever the fuck that is.

This is another video showing the lights from a different angle. Our shots are both from live news cameras and they’re in different spots in the city but they both show the lights. Something is actually there in the sky.
1 imminent_disclosure 2018-02-28
And aliens is now higher on the probability list. Hah!
1 phrancophoney 2018-02-28
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that-that might be from a different date. A few days earlier than OP's video. (?)
1 WaitTilUSeeMyDick 2018-02-28
Even if you are correct; what would you propose that it is? I'm not jumping straight to aliens. But it isn't fucking seagulls.
1 phrancophoney 2018-02-28
The video is from an earlier episode of the same phenomenon. I don't believe that it is seagulls, not even for a half-second.
It's just not a "Different Angle"...it's a different day. Same weirdness, a few days earlier. Not the same instance.
1 kanaami 2018-02-28
I noticed this as well. Now that I see someone else is also significantly interested in this - here’s an article I found seemingly on the same objects ALSO IN MILWAUKEE although from three years ago. At that time an army paratrooper claimed it was them but similar lights were seen in Osaka which makes things more suspicious. The videos of the objects in the article are no longer available for viewing which piques the conspiracy theorist inside me.
https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_55bbc2ede4b0b23e3ce2b8c9
Note that the article describes the objects in a way that could be very reasonably describe the objects we see in the more recent videos. The images appear to be consistent. Even more interesting, the “explanations” for the objects are all the same - birds, balloons, lanterns. Very strange stuff.

1 Jukecrim7 2018-02-28
People are saying fish tanks and seagulls, which don't make any sense at all. You gotta be super ignorant i guess if you just can't admit extraterrestrial life exists. Side note, I did see a similar video on this kinda of pattern in the sky but it occurred in a cloud. I'll try to find it
1 globaldu 2018-02-28
No, you have to be super ignorant to think a bunch of pigeons are aliens.
Are you thinking of a murmuration?
1 schmickler83 2018-02-28
Could be the news station faking it to go viral. It's like when they put a weathetman in the snow and let a plow truck bury him in snow on purpose, or they accidentally draw a dick in the weather patterns. Oh look what they did by "accident." Anything you see on TV can be fake, anything.

But still, that statement never left my mind. Fuck the show in front of the curtains, let me talk to the actors. Better yet, let me just see the director.

My first thought was a drone light show or something. No idea what it is but it's pretty awesome non the less. It's definitely not seagulls tho.

1 KrakensReport 2018-02-28
Now I'm all for the aliens and the spiritual stuff but I really do think this is a reflection of a school of fish in tank on the window the camera is pointed out of. If you follow one object it moves like it was water, the lights tend to spark up similar to the eyes on a fish and pop up in similar fashion to whatever the light source is. I've seen random local news organizations have something odd like this pop up that always ends up being something on a window. So I'm starting to think it may be intentional but thats where I think the conspiracy is.
Although it could also be spirits swimming around the firmament to fuck with us. Definitely not seagulls. Could be a message, project blue beam. Maybe it was redlettermedia discovering the worst VHS movie ever created opening Pandora box.
dunno lol
1 dystopian_love 2018-02-28
I definitely thought their movements looked as if they were swimming through water. I also thought of the dome.

I have seen birds appear like this just before sundown driving East on the interstate in North Dakota. They were illuminated by the sun going down in the west. I pointed it out to my family because it was such an amazing sight. The only difference was that it was in the middle of nowhere, the birds weren't as hazy and it was a little brighter out.
1 mikellerseviltwin 2018-02-28
Maybe some sort of drone displays, but one would think that the source of them could be found if that is the case

1 graysky1 2018-02-28
With the way they were moving... shit I am truly at a loss here. I want to say drones but drones wouldn't leave trails like that and drones like that over an American city would be shot down. This is truly so weird. I have never seen anything like that.
