5 hours of conspiracy posts scrubbed.
1 2018-05-31 by ghostofpedro
I typically sort r/conspiracy by new to browse. In my mind this is the best way to see topics before they disappear.
Today when I sorted I noticed that there is a huge gap in time. Between 11 hours and 16 hours ago nothing remains posted. Check it for yourself.
Does anyone know what was posted between those hours that was so offensive/explosive that they had to remove all threads for a 5 hour block?

This forum is so controlled and manipulated now - even the shills cannot deny it anymore.

A 5 hour thread wipe is so glaring and obvious. Any idea what they were trying to scrub?
1 missylizzy 2018-05-31
Not sure. Good question honestly.
I notice tons of manipulation with the votes, too.
Information is powerful.

Can you show us what was scrubbed?
1 ghostofpedro 2018-05-31
Sorry I can't. This is my first time today visiting r/conspiracy. All I know is that there is not an hour that goes by without at least 1 new thread let alone 5 hours with no threads.
1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
It's your first time here and you know that posts are scrubbed?
1 LeftOfTheDials 2018-05-31
Read what he said again
1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
I just read it. He said it is his first time visiting but he knows how many things get posted in a typical five hour period. How would he know this if he has not visited here before?
1 breritosupreme_ 2018-05-31
In the op:
He said he's been here before lol
1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
He edited his post and removed the "first time I've visited" part.

I believe what he was saying was that if there was a 5 hour gap where if you checked new that there seemed to be zero posts showing up. Not that there were none compared to normal
1 ghostofpedro 2018-05-31
Please read my post again. It's my first time visiting today. Thus I can't figure out what has been scrubbed. I come here usually multiple times a day and have been doing so for years.

Funny that
1 blowtheroofoff 2018-05-31
go here and scroll down.all the red highlighted threads are the removed ones.
there doesn't seem to be much of interest. i think the sub's just dead lately
1 DavieBPrime 2018-05-31
Jeez. Mods really cleaning house last day or two. Does that site only show the last couple of days? I'm on mobile and it showed they haven't deleted owt like 4, 5, 6, 7 days ago but went hard last few days, is that right?
1 blowtheroofoff 2018-05-31
i think most of them were auto removed by conbot for having no SS
not sure how far back it tracks, I'm on mobile too and just see what you see. it does take a while to gather the removed data for me sometimes
1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
And it looms like another person saying he had his post removed was because it was a meme. Thank you for the link!
1 blowtheroofoff 2018-05-31
no worries. for future reference if you ever want to see what has been deleted just replace "reddit" in the URL with "ceddit" or "removeddit", it works in all subs as far as I'm aware
1 DavieBPrime 2018-05-31
Wicked! Cheers dude!
1 Justsaguy12345 2018-05-31
Funny because two days ago was the most interesting day vie seen on here.

I see a jump from 12-16 hours ago. So four hour gap for me...that would have been at about 4:30am-8:30am pst. Maybe reddit was having maintenance or something?
1 Sabremesh 2018-05-31
Yes, that's the gap I see too. No idea what caused it, but it wasn't the mods spring cleaning.
1 GamerAnon859 2018-05-31
Like I said, the posts from my gap were posts that were rightfully removed. 3 had no SS's and 1 was a meme.
1 xxnexus_polarisxx 2018-05-31
They removed my post about Trump's "special" love for Ivanka and his very close friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. I guess we are not allowed to talk about Trump's special "hobbies".
1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
I just looked at your removed post in the link provided by another user and it was a meme and this sub has a rule (8?) against memes .
1 xxnexus_polarisxx 2018-05-31
It doesn't matter, it's just Reddit. Not every picture with text is a meme.
This is a meme :

This isn't :

1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
I just read the rules and the rules say no memes.
1 Correctthereddit 2018-05-31
Maybe the rules could be clearer on what is and isn't a meme?
1 HerMileHighness 2018-05-31
That was clearly a meme.
1 Correctthereddit 2018-05-31
I'm not arguing it wasn't. It just seems that it may not be clear to some users what images do and do not fall into that category based on this conversation.
1 GamerAnon859 2018-05-31
I just want to say that I have been frequenting this sub for years, over a number of accounts, and don't ever remember an issue with censorship. Sure, posts that break the rules have been removed, but the rules here are pretty liberal in comparison to many other subs.
I can also see that more posts have been removed since the SS rule was put into effect, but that is a rule that a large portion of the community was asking for for a long time because of all the spam posts that lacked any context or obvious reason for it being posted in a conspiracy sub, and I for one am happy that the mods here are enforcing it.
1 Correctthereddit 2018-05-31
Agree, the submissions statement requirement has greatly reduced shitposts and forum sliding (at least somewhat).
1 ClowningMachine 2018-05-31
Sadly, this sub is no longer for the free thinker. It's for the mods. They can push any idea and delete any thing they don't like. Just you watch, I bet this comment or even this thread gets scrubbed.
1 FartfullyYours 2018-05-31
Rule 13 is being used to censor posts that the moderators or, perhaps, admins don't agree with. The way it was explained to me is that we are not supposed to post news articles that can be construed as pushing an unapproved agenda.
/r/worldnews2, here we come....
1 DNCsucks 2018-05-31
They scrubbed shills thread and shills complaining to make the mods look bad. Wont fall for this.
