TEDOGATE: TED.com ILLEGALLY censoring pro-pedophilia TEDx Talk

1  2018-06-19 by Zigus

Just copying from the chan:

A week ago TEDx Talks YouTube channel uploaded a talk where a woman tried explaining that "pedophilia is a natural sexual orientation, just like heterosexuality". The video went viral and got 6 gorillion thumbs down, and the comment section was full of people sharing ideas for how to construct gas chambers.

They shoahd the video, trying to quietly sweep it under the rug. After they did that, a video mirror was uploaded and the video had almost 15k views in under 24 hours. It had gone viral and outrage was spreading all across the Internet. It was waking normies up hard, civic nationalist cucks were even commenting on the video saying things like "I didn't understand the whole nazi thing, but I get it now. We need to stop this." The fire was rising, fast.

Youtube just completely deleted the video at the request of TED.com representatives. Here are their emails (why don't you shoot them an email and ask them why they are promoting pedophilia as a "natural sexual orientation"?):

frederica@ted.com

cynamen@ted.com

distribution@ted.com

TED Talks are all licensed under the Creative Commons license, which means it is not a copyright violation to reupload and share them, which many youtube channels regularly do.

This is a clear indication of censorship and an attempt to scrub this pro-pedophilia TEDx Talk under the rug. It's time to unleash the Streisand Effect and let the world know that TED is helping push a pedophile normalization agenda that includes reclassifying pedophilia as a "natural sexual orientation".

We are holding TED's feet to the fire on this one. They realized they pushed too hard and too soon with their pedophile agenda and that the backlash was radicalizing normies. We are going to force TED to either officially disavow the video (rather than just quietly sweeping it under the rug), or force them to reinstate the video. We aren't going to let them just pretend this never happened.

Current mirrors (ALL YouTube mirrors have been shoahd):

How is that illegal...

Did you even read it?

"TED Talks are all licensed under the Creative Commons license, which means it is not a copyright violation to reupload and share them, which many youtube channels regularly do."

It's not illegal to make a copyright claim. That's not how the law works. The law wasn't even involved. They asked, and YouTube did it without being forced to. If it's completely under Creative Commons, which I'll take your word about, YouTube could have just ignored the request. Do I like it? No. But it's not illegal to ask. YouTube takedown requests are not legally binding actions or court orders. Plus, YouTube can keep up or take down any video they want for any reason. It's a private sight. Nobody has the "right" to have a video there (even if, again, I do disagree with the takedown).

Don't come at me about reading when you're making nonsensical claims about breaking the law.

I don't get what's your problem, you asked a question which showed you had not read the post and I answered. I'm not the author of the text in the post I just copied it (as mentioned in the first sentence). I'm simply putting it here for visibility...

Under the Tedx rules: https://www.ted.com/participate/organize-a-local-tedx-event/before-you-start/tedx-rules#h2--distribution;Webcast archive: Archiving your TEDx event webcast for the public or your attendees is not permitted. (I.e., you are not allowed to provide a stream of your event's webcast after your event has concluded.)

You copied information. I asked a question because what your post said is false. Then, instead of elaborating, you gave a snarky response.

I like this sub, but it's biggest problem is people simultaneously claiming to champion truth then spreading unsourced and false information. It's fair to call that out

Fuck Ted Talks! That shit made me want to puke.

IF they dont want that kind of Topic talked about at TED talks guess what its not illegal if they pull the videos down

Ted Talks and Tedx Talks are not the same. The Ted Talk organization is not responsible for what people say in a TedX. You have them all jumbled together in this post.

I understand how it works, Tedx talks are organised localy but someone still had to approve that specific talk. The point is that Ted are copyright striking any mirror of the video from youtube, while it is public domain.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize it was the Ted people making the copyright claims. I'm surprised they're allowed to do that, given the Ted and Tedx relationship.

Thanks for clarifying.

Its very simple its in there TOS

I did not write it I'm only posting this for visibility. This is what they say about youtube:

"TEDx YouTube: TEDx Talk videos should be uploaded to YouTube through the TED Media Uploader and distributed from the TEDx YouTube channel through an embed. Talks cannot be uploaded to any other platforms. Adhere to YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines with every video uploaded to the TEDx YouTube channel. Before you upload any video, you must confirm that all the images, music and video clips used in your speakers' presentations are cleared for distribution on YouTube. Securing rights to any copyrighted materials is entirely the responsibility of the TEDx organizer."

That is why they are being taken down on mirror channels. Plus if they were trying to push that agenda they would have wanted to keep that video up.

The reason they took it down is because of the huge backlash it received.

Well yes the one that was posted on TEDx, was removed for the backlash, but all the other mirror ones are being taken down because of the TOS.

They censored Graham Hancock’s TedX talk on drugs.

Any useable links still?

Ty!

Ted is still the publisher of TedX talks, so they are responsible for objectionable content

Who ever did that ted talk is a loser and creepy.

First there is this; https://www.ted.com/about/our-organization/our-policies-terms/ted-talks-usage-policy, they state the rules they have for Commons Livense Commercial cases: Using a TED Talk in a commercial context (on an intranet system, at a company event, in training materials, within a TED-branded video offering or editorial program, and more), requires a license. Please fill out our media licensing request form to inquire about licensing TED content. Read more below about bringing TED Talks to for-profit companies.

Under the Tedx rules: https://www.ted.com/participate/organize-a-local-tedx-event/before-you-start/tedx-rules#h2--distribution;

Webcast archive: Archiving your TEDx event webcast for the public or your attendees is not permitted. (I.e., you are not allowed to provide a stream of your event's webcast after your event has concluded.)

Both of these are the reason these videos are being brought down.

I did not write it I'm only posting this for visibility. This is TedX though and they have this:

TEDx YouTube: TEDx Talk videos should be uploaded to YouTube through the TED Media Uploader and distributed from the TEDx YouTube channel through an embed. Securing rights to any copyrighted materials is entirely the responsibility of the TEDx organizer.

That is why they are being taken down on mirror channels. Plus if they were trying to push that agenda they would have wanted to keep that video up.

Maybe I should have just posted the video itself. The idea was to create awareness of the actual Tedx talk which is another atempt at normalising pedophelia...

If they were trying to normalize it, they would have had left that video up.

Maybe they realized that the population isn’t brainwashed enough yet to accept it. But then again you think the would have it planned out better.

6 gorillion They shoahd

"I didn't understand the whole nazi thing, but I get it now

🙄🙄🙄

Yep, Tedx talks are published by the Ted Talks company. They are now trying to retract this video after having published it by asserting their copyright ownership over the video

There is another ted talk about being mature about pedophilia

Ending anything scandal-like with -gate should be a criminal offense
