What's your most out there conspiracy?
1 2018-07-17 by martianlawrence
This sub has gotten pretty heated recently and maybe this thread can be dedicated to your favorite most 'out there' conspiracies. Wether you believe it or just love it for it's ludicrous value. For fun and for thinking!
Mine is and will always be the disbelief that the moon is natural.

Sure does feel that way sometimes

9/11 was a complete hoax, including crisis actors, cgi planes, and the idea no one was in the towers when they were demolished.
I find it absolutely wild that people could believe that lmao, but I love it

Russia ran a massive propaganda campaign against Hillary Clinton in order to get Donald Trump elected, just so he would go against their interests in Syria, Iran, and Ukraine
1 Cobra-Serpentress 2018-07-17
I still subscribe that Russia had Trump Elected to avoid a Military Confrontation with Hillary. They had no idea how Out there Donald would be, but they knew he was not a Military options guy.
1 d3rr 2018-07-17
Trump seems to have no problem using the military to help Saudi Arabia topple Yemen: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/jun/11/trump-yemen-saudi-arabi-war-us-involvement-worsening-crisis
1 Cobra-Serpentress 2018-07-17
That is still a holdover from previous Administrations. I doubt The President has the Inclination to go to War with Russia over, Crimea, the Ukraine, or the election. Hillary had that inclination.
I stick with my statement.
1 d3rr 2018-07-17
Maybe someday we'll stop forgiving these holdovers. Afganistan was a bush to obama holdover and the drone wars and yemen are obama to trump holdovers. Holdover excuses for everyone!
1 ahackercalled4chan 2018-07-17
i love the "very ancient civilizations were extremely advanced" theory. it could be Atlantis. It could be something entirely different. but the more i research about ancient history, the more I'm leaning toward the idea that there was an advanced civilization on this planet that existed long before recorded history.
1 martianlawrence 2018-07-17
graham hancock fan?
1 ahackercalled4chan 2018-07-17
oh yeah. and Von Daniken.
mainstream archeology is a farce.
1 djm123412 2018-07-17
What do you think is a farce about it?
1 ahackercalled4chan 2018-07-17
how the pyramids were built by slaves. theories about wooden rollers used on the ground to help them move 100+ ton blocks. how a diomite (sp?) ball was used at the quary to "cut" (or rather beat) the granite blocks out of the mountain. how those same balls of diomite were used to beat the sides of the blocks to smooth out the edges so perfectly that there's no gaps at all...
there's more but I'm fried...

The last Golden Age.
1 Workmask 2018-07-17
To me, this is the least "out there" conspiracy. Its basically fact, what's up for debate is just HOW advanced these civilizations were.
1 ahackercalled4chan 2018-07-17
i get your point. it's not very "out there"/extreme. but mainstream historians and archeologists have destroyed careers over this to protect their narrative (and their egos).
1 Workmask 2018-07-17
I'd argue that scientists and historians who argue this have their careers destroyed because it exposes their bias, which a true researcher should not have.
The evidence is clear: ancient civilizations used tools far more advanced than chisels, very likely had electricity figured out, and were almost certainly capable of long sea travel. To argue against the evidence presented is career suicide indeed.
TL;DR- The historians arguing against an advanced ancient civilization are egotistical, or too lazy to updated the curriculum they have been teaching for the last 40 years.
1 LOTR_pippin 2018-07-17
To add to your main crux of the argument, the "advanced" part, I would say it has to do with how the ancients harnessed, transferred, and stored energy, through the Pyramids, and obelisks.
1 Capt_Irk 2018-07-17
That’s easy. Flat Earth. Stupid fucks.
1 whenipeeithurts 2018-07-17
I think Flat Earth is the baseline now for conspiracy. If you don't know this one then you believe in all sorts of red herrings.

If you want to upset a flat Earth believer ask them how GPS works then when they say triangulation point out that GPS doesn't use triangulation.
This tends to upset them.
1 LatexGimpLord 2018-07-17
Heres one:
Flat Earth itself is a conspiracy theory encouraged and promulgated specifically to discredit conspiracy theorists. Sadly some have drank the kool-aid but I highly doubt there's THAT many believers out there. It just seems to me that for a theory that's been around for a long time and had no traction (Truly a loony theory, hence few believers) it all of the sudden becomes the most prominently covered or mentioned theory when us theorists are mentioned in the media.
As in, at a time when information is so readily accessible and actual PROOFS of previous "kooky theories" are coming out, there seems to be a concerted effort to paint all conspiracy theorists with the same flat earth loony brush and discredit them ahead of time: It's attempting to paint the spreaders of ACTUAL information (that contradicts the official narrative) as all a bunch of fools, so hopefully people will ignore us theorists attempts to illuminate others.
1 Capt_Irk 2018-07-17
We have a winner! lol I’ve thought this all along.

That Liz Fraser of Cocteau Twins was a Sybil possessed by a siren and predicted all manner of crazy shit. John Knowles is awesome.

I also love his stuff but there is only so much of it I can take. I may have only read a twentieth. Would be very interested in a thread where people pointed out the highlights because I know I missed at least one great thing. The Fraser thing is definitely near the top.
In hindsight I am very glad I could never afford to take as many drugs as he has.

North Pole conspiracy: Nuclear submarines are used to encourage the Arctic ice to break up and to delay refreezing to access resources and free Russia's landlocked shoreline.
Blame 'Global Warming' on your lightbulbs.

OoOoh I like this one
1 Tibujon 2018-07-17
Russia has built a few military installations in the arctic recently. As the ice melts the “northern passage” opens and it is a geo political and economic game changer

We can't go back to the moon because we've been warned off by ancient technology that's on there. Moon footage had to be re-shot to make it look like it was a successful mission.

Hidden in the Vatican/Smithsonian lies secrets about our human history, if released would completely re-write the timeline and cause global chaos.
1 martianlawrence 2018-07-17
that I believe
1 LatexGimpLord 2018-07-17
I believe that too, I also believe there's 100's of years worth of porn there, some of it probably being some reprehensible shit (I.E. kids) No joke. In fact I also believe that monasteries were originally founded so that gay dudes and lesbians could get their freak on with like-minded people and live "how they want" without having to marry and procreate with someone of the opposite sex, or be burned at the stake. I feel they were formed as "an escape from societies rules" by one group and then some bad apples morphed it into something much more sinister and predatory.
1 Hambone_Malone 2018-07-17
That sounds reasonable. Any more information on this? Or just something you came up with?

That there are intelligent entities living on earth that we cannot see or interact with because they are on different dimension/wavelength/etc. However, they can see and interact with us easily.
1 slapstellas 2018-07-17
This isn’t really “out there” but the fact that they don’t teach cursive anymore so future generation will have no idea how to read all these old documents & leaving to constitution up further interpretation
1 caker111 2018-07-17
Our school here still teaches cursive.
1 slapstellas 2018-07-17
What grade do they teaching it in lol I graduated in 2012 and barely remember learning it
1 caker111 2018-07-17
3rd and 4th grades. I know not every school teaches it now, but we still have it going.

Found a guy that believed a secret empire called Tartaria existed next to the Russian Empire in the 16th to 19th century because he found it on old ass maps. Tried to explain to him that the lands of the tartars were called like that and they were ruled by different Khanates like the Sibir, Kazani etc as Mongolian successor states but were later subjugated and russified. So it wasn't really a secret that those states existed there once but he didn't believe me. Also was baffled that primitive Mongols could conquer Europe even though we had guns(his words).
He also thought that Napoleon built the pyramids, St. Petersburg was digged up by Peter the Great, that Russia and the US existed on the same continent once and that the worlds population was 80-200 billion during the Napoleonic wars because he found it impossible that Napoleons Grande Armée numbered 600 000. I've problems with this historical revisionist part of our community because the theories rarely stem from actual research but rather from ignorance of general knowledge, geography and history. This guys views are by far the craziest I've ever seen.
