The warmongering oligarchs at Comcast have REMOVED RT from basic cable...Now users have to upgrade to the "Russian Package" and pay extra if they want RT on cable...FUCK YOU, nbc!!!
1 2018-10-03 by Dulles_Did_Dallas_63
And, oh yeah--those who do upgrade get put on a LIST of course.
We should be extraditing the CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, Fox, NYT, WaPo executives and hosts/"reporters" to Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen for War Crimes trial as propagandists. (along with the National Security Council members/staff of the Clinton, Bush I and II, Obama, Trump administrations)

So were gonna illegally rendition heads of news departments and ex-politicians because your cable operator is milking money out of you to listen to Russian state propaganda?
wow
1 Dulles_Did_Dallas_63 2018-10-03
Not quite--I actually was already for extraditing US war criminals and their controlled propaganda enablers. It is obvious even the most brazen US war criminals are never even properly investigated in the USA by those in charge of holding our leaders accountable (Congress, DOJ, state courts, etc)

I am just curious if you have ever actually watched RT?
Because no one who has ever watched feels thatthereis much room to propagandize most of their stories and if they do something with a Russian focus its pretty easy to see.
Its a great source for many stories though.
1 RationalBogart 2018-10-03
Well, a lot of those same folks fall for every shit story right wingers spit out so...
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
Man these threads are so useful if you have RES tags
1 Trapz_Drako 2018-10-03
Rt is funded by the Russian government
1 Aszaszasz 2018-10-03
Do you realy think there is anyone alive who doesnt know that?
Does that change the fact that if they report that 2+2=4 from it being true?
1 AnonDidNothingWrong 2018-10-03
they put you on a list. Thoughts?
1 RationalBogart 2018-10-03
Who did?

1 RationalBogart 2018-10-03
But wouldn't the list be a Trump list so they would be okay?
1 Mr_Farenheitt 2018-10-03
The self-righteousness is pathetically ironic.
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
The funny this is this is EXACTLY what would happen in Russia lmao its so obvious in here

It's on youtube for free.
I didn't actually know we had access to the channel.
1 Dulles_Did_Dallas_63 2018-10-03
I usually check it out on youtube...but I do watch now and then on tv. A few years ago they had the RT name on the channel, then last year they took off the name and any/all programming info (so you couldn't see what time programs came on).
1 Aszaszasz 2018-10-03
Pluto tv has it. Its a app and a channel over the internet on roku and other devices.
Its like a whole cable system lineup without cable.
Its free too.
1 Dulles_Did_Dallas_63 2018-10-03
Thanks--I will check it out...LOVE to fire Comcast (or any other "local" cable conglomerate)
1 Aszaszasz 2018-10-03
The pluto tv app presents channels literally like a cable system.
Its great.
1 Dulles_Did_Dallas_63 2018-10-03
Not sure why but ptv froze my desktop.
You have to view ads to watch?
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
Maybe you should install kapersky AV while your at it. Collect em all
1 Aszaszasz 2018-10-03
I watfh it on Roku.
Alm the channels on it are different but i beleive all have some ads.
The service is free although there is a premium service i have never tried.

Question...Do they have this type of thing for Univision or any other Spanish speaking stations? Just curious its been many moons since I have had cable.
1 RationalBogart 2018-10-03
Yes they have tiers for spanish language extra channels, tiers for sports specialty channels etc etc.
1 WEEEIRD 2018-10-03
Yeah I used to have the Spanish package through Comcast because I didn't want cable and they had a deal that gave me decent internet for much cheaper than if I only got internet.
Otherwise I believe you only get Univision and maybe ESPN Deportes. I don't think you normally get any other foreign language channels.

Can't have any actual journalism slipping through, makes the major propaganda outlets look bad.
1 WEEEIRD 2018-10-03
Regardless of the level of quality, RT is a LITERAL state run propaganda network...
1 rodental 2018-10-03
And yet they sonehow manage to maintain journalistic standards that put every single American MSM network to shame.
1 lohan0 2018-10-03
Any examples of RT being critical of the Kremlin?
1 rodental 2018-10-03
https://www.quora.com/Does-RT-broadcast-or-publish-any-anti-Kremlin-news
Honestly, they don't criticize the Kremlin too much though. That's likely in part because because Putin is a bad-ass mofo that any country would be proud to have as king, and partially because they're a government agency. The difference is that when they do report something it's generally impartial and factual. American MSM just makes things up as often as not.
1 lohan0 2018-10-03
I don't know if you were aware, but the US has a history of being anti-king.
Thanks for the link, I think the pro-State nature of RT's coverage of protests says a lot.
1 rodental 2018-10-03
Too bad America doesn't have a sweet king like Putin, your country might not be such a shitshow.
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
He is so sweet, he had his buddies deliver bags of sugar to local apartments!

I hope we bomb you some day.

Very mature.
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
holy shit its so easy sometimes
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
You cant deny the state run propaganda campaign, so you just sidestep it.
Imagine if the US had White House News. What would this sub think about it? Also, how seriously would you take White House News' takes on foreign govts?
Laughable.
1 WEEEIRD 2018-10-03
Debatable! They're pushing narratives in the same way our msm is. All propaganda should be taken with equal skepticism.
1 rodental 2018-10-03
No, they really don't. They're certainly biased, but almost never cross the line into propaganda, whereas American media is basically 100% agenda pushing and lies.
1 WEEEIRD 2018-10-03
If you can't realize that a state sponsored news agency is propaganda, you're clearly letting your bias dominate your news intake.
1 rodental 2018-10-03
No, it's more that I'm neither Russian nor American, so I have a good perspective to judge.
1 WEEEIRD 2018-10-03
You're literally denying reality.
1 rodental 2018-10-03
No, I just haven't been brainwashed by American propaganda since I was a child.

We should be extraditing the Russia Today, Sputnik News, etc, executives and hosts/"reporters" to the United States for War Crimes trial as propagandists. (along with the staffs of Vladimir Putin and Paul Manafort)
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
Oh come on theyre just puppets who want jobs. The people pulling the strings are immune to extradition, especially from russia lol
1 lohan0 2018-10-03
Very true. I'm not very brave, so if I had to choose between saying what my government paid me to say about an enemy, vs accidentally adding polonium to my tea, I would choose the former.
I always thought conspiracies were about protecting the underprivileged from the elite, so those are usually the ones I seek out.
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
Until Trump won, they were. Now they are about protecting the elite from prosecution for the same laws the rest of us have to follow
1 CohenCash 2018-10-03
Hi welcome, good to see you
1 FartfullyYours 2018-10-03
It is funny how Al Jazeera America was run off, as well.
1 Dulles_Did_Dallas_63 2018-10-03
Yes--this is definitely a very organized 2+ years-long operation being conducted against We the People and alternative media...Telesur got whacked, too.
Al Jazeera won't even release their own documentary about the Israeli Lobby in the USA.
1 FartfullyYours 2018-10-03
Apparently, Al Jazeera America's advertisers were pressured to drop them.
