Whoever controlled Ancient Egypt control us now
62 2012-01-09 by aohus
I'm going to simplify a bit, but this makes me wonder
Pyramids found in Bosnia, China, and Mexico, but mainstream anthropologists/archaeologists do not discuss this phenomenon
Obelisks found in city-centers of power, including the Washington D.C Monument, the obelisk at the Vatican (St. Peters Square), and in NYC (Cleopatra's Needle), and much much more.
Pyramid on the dollar bill
Political elite and their involvement with the occults (The Pyramids of Egypt was closed on 11/11/11, confirmed via mainstream press)
Mainstream UFO enthusiasts + science-fiction movies keep saying they're 'out there' when 'they' have been here on Earth for thousands of years, if not more. (<-- my theory)
Our entire reality paradigm is predicated off a pyramidal hierarchical system, including institutions, government agencies, corporations, MNC's, etc.
Etymology of the word 'Amen' predates semitic texts and does not mean 'so let it be' but rather, 'to keep hidden.' It is an Egyptian word (ie: Amen-Ra, Amon, etc)
Please feel free to add onto this, or disprove it. Either way.

Go build the tallest structure you can with just rocks. You will build a pyramid.
Organize 100 people. If you were successful, you are almost certainly the top of the pyramid you created.
With modern technology we no longer have to create pyramids in order to build something big, so guess what: we don't. We build skyscrapers. But even then, like the Burj, they are pyramids with very steep sides (smaller at the top.)
Physics doesn't imply aliens or secret societies.
3 aohus 2012-01-09
I didn't imply that they are aliens. In my opinion there is some sort of order being passed from one generation to the next confined within the elite.
The idea of aliens perpetuated by mass media seems more of a disinfo tactic than anything else
1 esthers 2012-01-09
Do you have proof of this or are you just trying to organize things in history the way you want them to be to fit a preconcieved worldview that is more interesting subjectively?
1 aohus 2012-01-09
I'm merely organizing relevant material. Not sure about what you mean by 'proof.' Proof of what exactly? My statement above was just a personal opinion.
2 [deleted] 2012-01-09
No, but there is an interesting amount of relations between Pharaohs => Roman nobility => European royalty => American political/corporate wealthy; and if you want to bring secret societies into this... well, you're looking at all kinds of links and tangled webs. Sure, if you choose to look back far enough, we can find common ancestry in Africa, but these are relatively recent bloodlines that make sense to note contextually.
The large amount of symbolism used by societies is known today to be a useful tool for conveying and storing information in the brain; historically that put science behind the reasoning of all these symbols we see in ancient civilizations like pyramids and obelisks and such. The general populace isn't aware of the kind of psychological interpretations that are occurring behind all of these symbols being constantly fed into their subconscious.
Even the most innocuous familiarity can bring about irrational behaviour if you've bought into it for long enough.
2 [deleted] 2012-01-09
Just as DragonHunter said about building a pyramid... Try making a symbol. You'll draw a triangle, or a circle, or one of many interesting-looking simple geometrical shapes. Or likely you will use one you've seen before and think is cool (eye of horus). Common symbology is not necessarily a conspiracy.
2 [deleted] 2012-01-09
Funny you should mention the Eye of Horus.

the folly of man is to assume that we are currently the masters of our own domain.
0 DragonHunter 2012-01-09
The same applies with fortune cookies. If you pile up your collection it will make a pyramid.

Sure, lemme grab 100 friends and go move some 800 ton stones. Sounds easy enough.
5 DragonHunter 2012-01-09
You can do it with regular bricks. Build a brick structure with no steel support as tall as you possibly can. 100% chance it will be a pyramid.

and this is why i post on reddit. thank you good sir, will check it out.
EDIT: ugh, 9/11 related stuff.
that being said though, what we must focus on is not whether or not 9/11 was an inside job, but the actions that were taken in the name of 9/11 that we must investigate since 2001. So far what has the U.S done? Invaded Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen, itching to go to war with Iran, and expanding military bases and embassies throughout the region, benefiting MNC's like Haliburton, Bechtel, and ex-CIA/JSOC operatives moving into the security contractor industry that are not subject to U.S or International Law.

We should all get together for dinner one night. I agree with you fully. I personally like to think that our species has endured unimaginable calamity, both cosmic and earthy and still, we exist.
There have likely been guardians of knowledge throughout the epochs and they use their knowledge to rule everyone else. They use physics, philosophy, geometry, biology, and calculus to dominate all others and mostly keep their vast knowledge a secret, hence the desperate efforts of occultists and adepts of esotera to 'learn the unlearnable'.
The pyramids of yesteryear may have been the obelisks of today. Who knows?

Montalk.net is run by the guy who create NobleRealms.org - a conspiracy site that was around for years - but shut down - you can still see al the posts, but Tom wanted to move on...
Was a great site - predated reddit and GLP.

I grew up in a small suburban town. In the last 2 years they redid the lakefront property of the town and put up a 5 foot obelisk. It was a wtf moment for me.

According to the Talmud (Shab. 119b), “amen” is an acronym for the Hebrew phrase El Melech ne’eman (God, the faithful King)
4 aohus 2012-01-09
Interesting. According to the Pyramid Texts, circa 3rd century B.C., which looks to predate the Talmud text, Amen means 'the hidden one,' which was used for many Gods. (ie. Amen-Ra, King of the Gods)

Some people consider it possible that Moses was actually Akhenaten. That's about 1400BC or earlier.

I think your points are correct and interesting.
However, this does not mean the same group of people control the world do so now. It is very possible another group is in power now, that merely uses these same ideas.
I think it is very probably that these people have been in power continuously, however these points don't prove it to me.
2 DoctorMiracles 2012-01-09
Those that seek power love rituals, old lore, occult traditions and hidden symbolism. Like in many other organized bodies, like the military, schools or many professions, these elements bring cohesion and a sense of union and higher esteem ('we are above others, we know what no one else does'). Add the plain 'old boys network' web of influences and there we have, the hidden hand that rules, maybe singing some chant under a full moon or having orgies with purple robes but still going after the mundane goals of money, greed, lust, power.
3 frostek 2012-01-09
There's certainly no pyramids in Bosnia. I know what you're referring to, and it's a hill

The Koch Brothers Are Creating A Right-Wing Facebook Called “Themis"
"Themis is untranslatable. A gift of the gods and a mark of civilized existence, sometimes it means right custom, proper procedure, social order, and sometimes merely the will of the gods (as revealed by an omen, for example) with little of the idea of right." (wikipedia)
I realize this may be a stretch for some of you, and Greek Gods are somewhat off topic, yet this is how I view power being (ab)used today.
2 [deleted] 2012-01-09
I can add more. Those wigs the English judges used to wear originated in ancient Egypt.
2 Im80u16_Imhardusoft 2012-01-09
You are right and convincing. The english language is limited to be unable to argue with this. You must be crazy and I dont have any evidence you are.

You would be interested to know also that all of the British monarchy can trace their decent to Egyptian Pharaohs. Also interesting is that all of the US presidents are related to each other, and also said British monarchy. Coincidence?
1 MRuppert 2012-01-09
Can you find a source for your Amen claim? Sounds like some Jordan Maxwell shit to me and most of what he says is so absurd it is almost insulting to me that anyone takes him seriously. He literally doesn't understand how languages work and yet pretends to use this as evidence for his "theories" if you can even call them that.
6 aohus 2012-01-09
I never rely on conspiracy personalities for my research.
http://www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Amun
From Αμμων (Ammon), the Greek form of Egyptian Ymn (reconstructed as Yamanu) which meant "the hidden one". In early Egyptian mythology he was a god of the air, creativity and fertility, who was particularly revered in Thebes. Later, during the Middle Kingdom, his attributes were combined with those of the god Ra and he was worshipped as the supreme solar deity Amon-Ra.
1 sunshine-x 2012-01-09
You'd like the books of Enoch. Reportedly, his biblical texts tell the story of his interaction with "the gods", who travelled here from space and had him construct the pyramids with their assistance. The reason was to store their gifts of knowledge with human, in 300+ texts. Who knows where they are now.
Anyhow, yeah, I totally agree; there's much more to the story of international pyramids and megalithic construction than we're being told. I look forward to dec 21 2012, as I predict the return of extraterrestrials (or just the truth about them).

That's like saying that since The Lord of the Rings and Skyrim both contain elven races, elves must be real.
3 aohus 2012-01-09
Will most likely get downvoted, but head on over /r/DMT and the psychonautic crowd will say that elves are real, just not in this physical world we live. Nutso right? But for those that ingest DMT or Ayahuasca, some of these individuals have an experience similar to a NDE or OBE and do report seeing intelligent entities conversing with them, including elven like entities, serpents, praying mantises, and others. Similarly, people that are susceptible to OBE's report meeting entities as well.

FYI he states that DMT is secreted from your pineal gland. There is no scientific proof of that as of now. Its just a theory. Currently DMT is found in our brain/blood cells as well as in plants and other mammals.
If you look at most religions, they practice a form of meditation, whether it be through yoga, prayer, incantations, and chants. These are all methods of going into our altered state of consciousness. Ingesting Ayahuasca is I suppose, 'the easy way' of traveling to this realm, subconscious mind, hyperspace, whatever you want to call it.

A dark force (Lucifer) controls the entire earth. Research Lucis Trust. It is an entity inside the United Nations. It used to be called Lucifer Trust. A lot of the secret leaders of governments believe in the works of Alice Bailey and of course the very prolific author who wrote the secret bible, The Secret Doctrine.
5 Atomic_Shaq 2012-01-09
H.P. Blavatsky wrote The Secret Doctrine. The works of Alice Baily known as the blue books are not negative or "evil" in anyway. The term Lucifer used in theosophical literature meant "Light-bringer" and had nothing to do with the devil, which Blavatsky claimed not to believe in.
In 1887, Blavatsky created a theosophy magazine, and she chose to name it Lucifer, which was a dark joke and in part was used to keep her critics at arms length.
I recommend "Isis Unveiled" for understanding some of the connections from ancient Egypt to the Hermetic traditions. Her great works introduced the ancient mysteries to the Occident.

[Make no mistake, Theosophy IS Freemasonic, and part of the NWO's spirituality/new-age wing.]
These books are about cosmic metaphysics, astrology, esoteric history, the evolution of our species, science, psychology, discipleship, meditation and more. They deal with much wider and deeper subjects than what you are claiming. It's not good to confuse wisdom for ignorance.
They are very interesting books nonetheless.

Facepalm. This place is sadlarious.
How about you prove something first?
6 cesarjulius 2012-01-09
How about if it could be proven absolutely, it wouldn't belong in r/conspiracy?
I don't understand why someone would subscribe to this sub who has no desire to hear unproven theories.
2 un-sub 2012-01-09
I'm on your side, but just want to point out that proving or disproving has nothing to do with something being a conspiracy. A conspiracy is an evil, unlawful plan made by two or more people in secret.
Many conspiracies have been proven, they are still conspiracies :)
I just want to point this out because a lot of people generally associate the term "conspiracy" for some untrue craziness.
0 [deleted] 2012-01-09
I didn't say absolutely.Even a tiny bit of proof of any of the wild claims would do. And yours is a typical narrow minded butthurt response of someone who doesn't wan't to think critically about anything and just wan'ts to believe theses fantastical stories because the sound cool and you want to feel like you know something more than all the "sheeple".
That's because you are narrow minded, the fact is you have no clue what sort of desires I do or do not have. I come here in the hope of reading something that I wouldn't see on the news or in papers. Instead I get bombarded with baseless garbage like this and the 9/11 was so OBVIOUSLY a controlled demolition and the fucking ancient Aliens crowd who don't believe in Darwin's theory of evolution but rather that we were designed by aliens.
This is not a conspiracy this is conspiritarded
