When will /r/Conspiracy ever get their props?
18 2012-02-09 by Negro_Napoleon
I'm reading about stories about the Mossad terrorists in Iran and I'm wondering why this is such big news now?
People on /r/conspiracy knew about this LONG before...I'm talking over 6 months.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Many of the people following r/Conspiracy are ahead of the masses in perception. Hell, this is a good thing though. Better to be in the vanguard than be taken by surprise. Far far ahead of the media, and aware of when the obedient media falsify causes for events.
Also, anyone in r/Conspiracy for more than one year gets a sew-on fabric badge that says "eyes wide open" which gets you free beer at taverns in New Hampshire. Okay, just a rumor.

The irony that he is using a MSM link as proof of a conspiracy, it hurts.
Can I have the badge too?

Here you are. Also a knot-tying merit badge. Congrats! Now we can go camping!

It's not a good idea dude, I don't drink much but when I camp I end up like this: http://i.imgur.com/2y7kp.jpg
Random anecdote: Finishing off one night at a music festival walking a girl to her camp about 5AM. I see a trench and think 'Fuck yeah, I can clear that jumping double footed'. I attempt it and go completely arse over tit. Walk her home, set off back to our camp (5 minutes), try to do the jump again and fall. Thought 'I'll just close my eyes for a second', then got up and stumbled back to camp to be met by my mate kicking off - "where the fuck have you been?"
Turns out it was about 7.30 AM and I had been asleep in the ditch for about 2.5 hours. Camping is fun.

honestly dude my friend (who coincidentally is a conspiracy theorist) was well pissed off at me, It felt like a blink of an eye and I was insistant I'd only been a few minutes. Was only when I woke up hungover with mud all over my hoody and him still pissed off that I realised I must have been in the land of nod for a good few hours there lol.
Fuck ring of fire.

2011: Guess /r/conspiracy was 6 month too late eh? Maybe if they opened their eyes a bit and looked at alternative news sources to the norm then they wouldn't make a giant tit out of themselves with a circlejerk post like this!
1 dar0za 2012-02-09
you really think that talk of mossad being involved in iran is exclusive with r/conspiracy or conspiracy theorists...?
1 [deleted] 2012-02-09
What?
1 Darrelc 2012-02-09
You'll happily link and vilify the MSM when it's of benefit to your cause.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-09
It wasn't to vilify them, its to say that they reported on a story that /r/conspiracy had been talking about for months.
I'm confused with what you're saying?
1 Darrelc 2012-02-09
the time's long passed, but more people will slate and shoot down the 'MSM', but happily reference and use it when it supports their point (e.g. 'IamJulianAssange' spamming dailymail articles).
Don't read too much into it, pretty crap post of mine to be fair.

What happens is when enough Youtube videos, email chains and blog posts circulate the MSM needs to do a piece or they will completely lose all legitimacy. Additionally, many of the reporters are slow, lazy and behind the times. They receive their news through official channels and their job is simply to speak the words in the regional dialect. So at some point the story comes out as damage control.
1 Darrelc 2012-02-09
What? Then where's the MSM links about Obama being a reptile?
By the way, BBC clocked this a year ago, a full 6 month before than when Negro said /r/c deserves props. For guessing something reported on 6 month before.
But yeah, the MSM has to wait until 50 youtube videos have been made. Or maybe the music isn't spooky enough.

Yes of course. Undoubtedly the posters here are logged in various systems. Thats just the reality of it. So its important to honestly know who you are, to know your role in society. If you are someone who goes against the grain and shit goes real bad then you have a deadly problem.

How does it feel being up on your high horse?
4 pork2001 2012-02-09
About as bad as not having a sense of humor.
1 SilentNick3 2012-02-09
The old "I was just joking" routine. Nice try.
1 pork2001 2012-02-09
No, that was a direct criticism of your being a humorless prick, Fuck off, asshole.

Yeah the difficulty is not being like Iron Man and wanting it all to go full on fucked up. Of course it will but on some level it is good to not want it to happen. The resentment and alienation of being ridiculed can make a person want to see it all burn. I think that the best a person can do is to make shit hitting the fan less and less relevant.
1 filmfiend999 2012-02-09
I don't think so. This sub has gained much credibility over the last couple of years. True, some people don't want to open their eyes. But many more have been. I mean, people even know who their congressmen are these days. Wow! It's agonizingly slow, the waking procedure, but it's happening. Patience.

I'm not a conspiracy theorists and I gathered that is was most likely Isreal, don't flatter yourself.
2 [deleted] 2012-02-09
No need to try and be a douche.
2 Darrelc 2012-02-09
I like how you completely skipped past:
But called me a douche, for stating 'so did I' basically? Nice cognitive dissonance.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-09
It was the don't flatter yourself part which seemed a bit douched Darrel.
2 Darrelc 2012-02-09
You've never heard the phrase before? It's usage is valid, even moreso after my last comment with the BBC link.
2 [deleted] 2012-02-09
Of course I've heard the phrase. It's a put down aimed at bringing someone down a peg or two. Anyway, lets not get into a petty row over nothing. I just thought you were a little prickly with your response to the OP and that is your perogative, but we can try to be nice.
Edit... I didn't need to call you a douche. Apologies for that
1 Darrelc 2012-02-09
It's OK. I haven't come here for an argument or anything. thanks for apologising.
1 [deleted] 2012-02-09
How are you a "conspiracy theorist" if you reached a conclusion supported by the media MONTHS later?
Why aren't you "someone who pays attention and makes educated guesses?"
You don't have to shit on people who actually were RIGHT about this, you know.
0 Darrelc 2012-02-09
Three days late, but as I mentioned in the other post, BBC clocked it a year ago. I'm shitting on you for being smug about it, whilst been wrong! cracking.
4 happygerbil 2012-02-09
For ever big news article r/conspiracy gets out before r/news there are three posts about how Lady Gaga is a satanist or some other such silly thing.
Until r/conspiracy starts buckling down on things that actually matter no one is going to take it seriously.
3 iknowwhatyoumeme 2012-02-09
You're on the right lines with this one, it's just hard to decide who has editorial control over content here i.e. 'Who's running this monkey show?'
3 El_Biffo 2012-02-09
Damn straight. I'm sick and tired of people labeling Gaga a Satanist when she is clearly a reptile. But in all seriousness I agree with you. Lots of turds in the punch bowl here.
0 destraht 2012-02-09
The problem is that people like you look at things in disjoint terms. She is definitely both.

We dont need the props. Just the Kudos from our own small collective.
We have always thought out of the box. We always think for ourselves.
The freedom to question and investigate is our way, our path.
But... when others traverse and stumble on to our path, thats a sweetness that cant be measured :)
0 ikilledyourcat 2012-02-09
its a thankless job, our work is our own reward.
1 tttt0tttt 2012-02-09
Exactly. I can't speak for anybody else, but I wrote immediately after the killing the scientist before last that it was Mossad, using Iranian operatives. Others fingered Mossad as well. It was obvious to us, because we know how Mossad operates, and how the Zionists think.
1 Jaleon 2012-02-09
When we compile this list and convince the masses.
1 armleglegarmhead 2012-02-09
who else would have assassinated those people? it's not like it was much of a stretch to look to the mossad.
1 filmfiend999 2012-02-09
I think we do get our props. Secretly. Don't expect a parade for us, people.
