Psywar

From the youtube description:

PsyOps? PsyWar - already here and you are the victims. Wake UP!

This film explores the evolution of propaganda and public relations in the United States, with an emphasis on the "elitist theory of democracy" and the relationship between war, propaganda and class.

Includes original interviews with a number of dissident scholars including Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Michael Parenti, Peter Phillips ("Project Censored"), John Stauber ("PR Watch"), Christopher Simpson ("The Science of Coercion") and others.

I found an interview with the filmaker for those interested - http://v-radioblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/v-radio-interview-with-scott-noble.html Peace and Love

Yes fill your brain up with 100% debunked bullshit, that should make for a nice evening.

I saw this! Amazing shit. You'll never see a fringe topic like this investigated by a Network news team these days.

ABC Journalist Paul Altmeyer states, "And what of George White, the man who helped the agency in so many of its programs. Shortly before his death, he wrote to his boss at the CIA, Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, and summed up his career by saying, 'It was fun, fun, fun. Where else could a red-blooded American boy lie, kill and cheat, steal, deceive, rape and pillage with the sanction and blessing of the all highest.' -minute 55

I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work. There are lots of people out there who can benefit from this knowledge. Thank you for putting it all together and for trying to keep the links up to date. This is my night time viewing for the next month!

It's a pleasure. I get to see tons of great stuff this way.

three days of the condor; it really blows your mind when you watch it and think about all our country is doing in the middle east.

"How do you know they'll print it?"

Hesitatingly--"...they'll print it."

"What makes you so sure?"

Media censorship. Total control. What an ominous ending. Great fucking film. RIP, Sydney Pollack.

Century of the self is absolutely brilliant. Pretty much every Adam Curtis documentary is.

Yes we've seen the Adam Curtis trilogy already, they are great docs in my opinion. His blog is really interesting too.

My vote is for UFO: the Greatest Story Ver Denied. Takes an in depth look at the undeniable UAPs over the last 60 years.

This documentary is fantastic for a number of reasons. 1. Skeptics are forced to look at the facts shins such an elusive issue. I've shown this to several of my skeptic friends and they were blown away at the staggering amount of technical data to accompany anecdotal evidence. 2. Great for entry-level conspiracists. The scheme in which keeps this knowledge downplayed is abhorrently obvious even to those who would otherwise turn a blind eye. 3. It's the kind of material that forces viewers to ask the 'right' kinds of questions: "what is our place in the cosmos," "why is UFOlogy so passé," "what are the implications of Exopolitics," etc. 4. It's a very important topic IMO. Yes, I am an amateur UFOlogist, but my bias aside, I think we can agree that taking a much more discerning look into this topic would bring greater understanding to an area of research which is muddled with complete garbage and ultimately makes most give up the search for truth altogether. 5. For the UFO community, it would bring more, properly-equipped sky-watchers into the fray. We need more proof for the world to really open up to the truth of this subject. Spreading the word is the best way to guarantee future evidence and proper academic discussion on the matter.

Just my two pesos. Thx!

Edit: a must watch for first timers. My apologies for re-recommending.

We watched this already, that's why it's on the list above. I agree though it's a fascinating watch.

My apologies, thanks for the heads up.

No problem at all and you're welcome.

This would be my vote.

Day of disclosure. One of the best ufo films I've ever seen. Sorry for no link.

Not really about conspiracy, but about a dystopian future.
